Okay, I can understand him being upset that he didn't get to slug it out with Hopkins but saying that he "gave as much as he took" and he "hit him more than he's ever been hit in his career"? C'mon, be real with yourself for a moment Howard. He said that he never had watched a Hopkins fight and at first I didn't believe him. But now, I have no doubt that he hasn't. Mercado gave Hopkins way more trouble than Eastman did.

Man, I can understand him being upset at missing out on his opportunity to bring those titles to his homeland, but my respect for the guy just went down, for real.

Hopkins fought a below par fight and still beat Eastman hands down...how must Eastman feel? Pretty pissed i can imagine. Let Him rant all he wants, no one will take notice till he beats a note worthy opponent!

Eastman always had a good chin, he showed that in the Joppy fight when Joppy was hitting him with some good shots in the middle rounds of their fight. Good chin though, not good enough for Hopkins!

howard only has himself to blame. there was no question whatsoever as to who won the fight, and bernard won it without getting out of breath.

if howard wants to be a world champ at middleweight he had better hope that bernard moves up and vacates all his titles, then he may get another shot.

If Bernard vacates, Eastman has a decent chance to be middleweight champ!

Eastman was a bum. I expected a lot more from him. His reason for losing the fight is because the ref wouldn't let him hold and hit hopkins, that's some bullsh*t. I hope taylor lays his a$$ flat...

I see a Taylor/Hopkins fight going very similar to the Eastman/Hopkins fight. But then again I've only seen Taylor fight once and he looked like a pretty big guy.

I think Eastman is acting the way he is in order to make Hopkins mad enough to want a rematch. Hopkins is a true professional and won't fall for Eastman's bait though.
