View Full Version : Wlad vs Rahman: Who Wins? Nautilus 11-21-2004, 12:28 AM If mean-spirited, Wlad TKO8 Rahman Neuraxis 11-21-2004, 12:32 AM Its impossible to judge Rahman off a fight with a fighter who wasn't even in the top 100 before King got him ranked by the WBO, but it was quite disturbing that Rahman couldn't floor Meehan and Danny Williams could. I'd need to wait to see Rahman in action against better competition before I go with him on this one. So I'd go with Wlad with a late round TKO or decision simply because Rahman still hasn't beaten anyone since he lost to Lewis three years ago. dempseyfire 11-21-2004, 12:34 AM Rahman would KO Wlad. phallus 11-21-2004, 12:36 AM Rahman would KO Wlad. as things are now Nautilus 11-21-2004, 12:36 AM Its impossible to judge Rahman off a fight with a fighter who wasn't even in the top 100 before King got him ranked by the WBO, but it was quite disturbing that Rahman couldn't floor Meehan and Danny Williams could. At least, Wlad has never experienced flying out of the ring. Sir_Jose 11-21-2004, 12:48 AM Rahman beats him and beats him EASY. freirui 11-21-2004, 05:44 AM Wlad would KO Rahman cold, just like Maskaev KO Rahman. WillieW 11-21-2004, 06:15 AM Ummmmm, thinking about this a bit. This would actually be a good match-up. Both guys can punch, but both guys have a tendency to get hit. Wvlad is better technically, but weaker mentaly. Hard to pick, but this would have the potentional to be a fun fight to watch. Yeah, I would like to see this happen, it'd be a gas. I would lean towards Roc winning via KO, but in a fight where both guys exchange alot. Winter 11-21-2004, 06:19 AM Wladimir would win. I know why too. WillieW 11-21-2004, 06:44 AM Wladimir would win. I know why too. :D Ok, I'll bite.......why. marvdave 11-21-2004, 08:14 AM exciting fight to watch. Both guys have pop. Rahman's experience and better chin would give him the edge. The right would get to Wlad. I would say Rock would KO Wlad by round 7. leff 11-21-2004, 09:43 AM It would be great matchupp, if rahman showes upp at 230 and 270 it could be very interesting and could go either way since both are powerfull punchers and none of them has a solid chin. Wlad by late tko TheFairPole 11-21-2004, 10:02 AM I like both fighters. If this fight happens I think this all depends on each fighters mentallity. I will pick Wlad by KO. No suprise, I know... :D dempseyfire 11-21-2004, 12:10 PM Plus Rahman's chin is not better than Wlad's. At least, Wlad has never experienced flying out of the ring. That's a ridiculous thing to say. Wlad never had the balls to face Masgaev, who's a big puncher and who's style is completly different to Klitschko's. If you're gonna take that "who's who" argument, Rahman took Sanders best shots, many more then Wlad did, survived and came back for the TKO win. Klitschko tasted one left hand from Sanders and flailed around the rest of the fight before it was stopped. Did Klitschko ever go 12 with Tua? Or face any big puncher that he went on to beat except the big amateur Derrick Jefferson??? Nautilus 11-21-2004, 12:44 PM That's a ridiculous thing to say.
