I recently joined an athletic club and I'm really enjoying it. Now my wife says she wants to join. I'm not sure I like the idea.
The positives would be that she would stay and good shape. The negative is it might cramp my style. There are a lot of hot chicks there and although I don't act on it, I do occassionally check out the talent. Also I'm just not sure how cool the whole "going to workout with the wife" thing is.

What do you guys think?

My wife and I belong to the same gym but we don't workout together. It isn't a good idea. It has caused some arguements and frustrations. Then we end up in the hot tub all night and dont get a good work out. It is great she wants to join, but dont make it a thing to do together.

On the other hand, my wife and I will meet up and play some raquette ball, she kicks my ass, so that works. Last time I got a black eye and I was wearing goggles. LOL

If you are at a boxing gym go ahead, great to relieve some frustration....If you get my drift.

I recently seen an article about couple workouts, it is a form of calisthenics/yoga/pilates you use your partners own bodyweight for exercises....

Personally I am against it, in the gym it is my time. Masculine environment for me I think its a great idea she wants to workout but she should do it by herself or with a girlfriend, as stated before it can cause problems. Especially if she isnt motivated and gets whiny.

Tell her to go in the morning or in the evening the opposite of when you go.

Sounds like a bad idea. Besides the fact you want to look at chicks, your wife might be dissapointed in the ****ty workouts you put it compared to other people. Im not saying you do ****ty workouts, but I think there will be unwanted pressure on you to workout as hard as the next guy there every time your wifes there even if you dont feel like it. I dont know about you, I just wouldnt want that kind of pressure.

I was just thinking of that myself, I have gotten busted looking around, then my wife says at night that these chick I check out walk around in the buff, strutting their perfect stuff in their lockerooms. Grrrr, just to be a fly on the wall for a while would be so worth it. There are quite a few hot chicks at the gym, many of them are MILFS.

going to the gym should be a man personal time.

Ok, those are some good responses. I think I'll let her join but just not work out at the same time. Sounds like a good solution.

Thats a tough dilema. If its your time its your time. I dont know how u could tell her without making her feel bad though. However her looking fine as hell for a while is an awesome reward in itself.

I dont think u can really go wrong,

If she dont go u still do ur thing, maybe have a little more fun with ur buds checking the "talent" as u put it.

If she does go u might have the same fun but shell' be looking finer and finer.

Sounds like you want to check out the talent. Don't bring the wifey with you. :)
