That was only about a month before Rocky died in that plane crash. wmute 03-05-2005, 05:13 AM chavez would've put a hurting on robinson please explain what you mean wmute 03-05-2005, 05:16 AM Rocky Marciano, never got knocked out like those guys, Marciano said in my prime i could have fought with any Man alive, and i would have put my money on him, and i dont care who he is fighting... srr was never KOed ali was never KOed waht the hell are you talking about? the_powerpuncher 03-06-2005, 11:02 AM Larry Homes knocked ali out, Ray Robinson, quit a couple fights, that is a knock out loss, The Phantom Menace 03-06-2005, 11:08 AM Larry Homes knocked ali out, Ray Robinson, quit a couple fights, that is a knock out loss, Ray Robinson is the greatest of all time P4P. Ali was never KO versus Holmes, the fight was stopped Ali never left his feet. As for Marciano being able to beat Ali, get real. Slipx 03-06-2005, 11:19 AM the best all-time, without question one Bobby Hitz.......Rockin' love ya Bobby hehe was bobby tough in the gym? when you saw him spar, was he passive in the ring or did he drop full power hooks from the first bell? the_powerpuncher 03-06-2005, 11:37 AM Marciano throws alot more punches and hits alot harder than Joe Frazier, what do think Marciano would have done to Ali's onion, Marciano can run faster forward, than Ali can backwards, he would catch Ali sooner or later, and Marciano dont need but one punch, he could end a fight at any second, we will never know, i know i would pick Marciano, bombshell 03-06-2005, 11:44 AM Marciano throws alot more punches and hits alot harder than Joe Frazier, what do think Marciano would have done to Ali's onion, Marciano can run faster forward, than Ali can backwards, he would catch Ali sooner or later, and Marciano dont need but one punch, he could end a fight at any second, we will never know, i know i would pick Marciano, marciano...the best of all time,he reigns supreme in heavyweights-unbeatable....only death crashing him down...but not his opponent! :boxing: The Phantom Menace 03-06-2005, 12:03 PM Marciano throws alot more punches and hits alot harder than Joe Frazier, what do think Marciano would have done to Ali's onion, Marciano can run faster forward, than Ali can backwards, he would catch Ali sooner or later, and Marciano dont need but one punch, he could end a fight at any second, we will never know, i know i would pick Marciano, We do know because logic and reason tells us. Marciano fought in a time when Heavyweights were smaller, he himself was 185lbs. He was knocked down a few times by fighters who were barely 200 lbs. Logic and reason tells us that if this man of 185 lbs. was knocked down a few times by fighters who were barely 200 lbs, then he surely would get knocked down and worse by a fighter who was over 210 lbs. with superior skills to the men who fought in Marciano's era. Also Marciano's resume is overated he beat an old Joe Louis and lots of tomatoe cans and also hardly fought any black fighters as compared to the level of competition that modern fighters face black opponents today. Ceratogyrus 03-06-2005, 02:50 PM I am absoloutely staggered that people are not voting for Joe Louis. Joe beat 6 men that held the undisputed heavyweight championship and reigned for nearly twelve years(a record). If we judge athletes on accomplishments then Joe is the best. Simone 03-06-2005, 03:35 PM Sugar Ray Robinson PessimisticPug 03-06-2005, 03:44 PM hehe was bobby tough in the gym? when you saw him spar, was he passive in the ring or did he drop full power hooks from the first bell? bobby was and probably still is a tough guy. When I saw Bobby in the ring he worked good and hard. He really didnt have many guys to work with except a guy named craig Payne. Craig never did much because of his training habits but he was a skilled fighter. Craig actually beat Tefellio Stevenson in the amatuers before turning pro. Bobby wasnt as skilled as craig but he made that up in heart and desire. I dont know how much amatuer experience he had. Bobby was a tough guy, plain and simple........Rockin' By the way slipx, you are very interested in Bobby, do you know him. RwK 03-06-2005, 03:46 PM Greatest.
