View Full Version : Anyone wanna volenteer for round by round AintGottaClue 03-02-2005, 07:25 PM on March 19th would anyone like to do round by rond on the chat we have here so we can put it to good use :)btw im on chat know if anyone wants to haev a chat BBFM 03-02-2005, 08:18 PM i can set up a webcam and stream it on winamp AintGottaClue 03-02-2005, 09:25 PM i can set up a webcam and stream it on winamp are you aloud to do that? Stickman 03-02-2005, 10:28 PM are you aloud to do that? That would be a resounding "NO", but people do it anyway, all the time :) I have my satellite piped in through my PC so I can capture fights, but I'm probably not buying Pac and Morales...I've never been a Morales fan, and Pacman is a bit one-dimensional for him to excite me very much. Fun to watch for sheer slugging value, but little else. Anyway, if I were going to be here, and buy the fight, I could type a blow-by-blow on chat...I type about 100 WPM, so it wouldn't be a problem keeping up. I'll try and do that on the next heavyweight PPV, or a fight that isn't available to our friends across the pond. Oh right because Hopkins "technical" style is so damn entertaining that it only takes him 6 rounds to figure his opponent out and then finally act like an idiot. I'm sorry but this was just a really lame excuse for either hating the fans that love these 2 fighters or can't afford it. Take your crap else where! Stickman 03-02-2005, 10:44 PM Oh right because Hopkins "technical" style is so damn entertaining that it only takes him 6 rounds to figure his opponent out and then finally act like an idiot. Take your crap else where! No reason to get annoyed, buddy...you like your fighters, I'll like mine. I'm not going to spend $45 on a fight that doesn't have at least one of my favorite fighters in it, one that I have at least some cash riding on, or a heavyweight figth I think is going to be a war. And the Hopkins fight, had it been PPV, wouldn't have been shown at my house either, just so you know. ****, that's the first time I've ever had anyone get pissed off at me for not buying a PPV event so they could get a round-by-round account. jack_the_rippuh 03-02-2005, 10:44 PM That would be a resounding "NO", but people do it anyway, all the time :) I have my satellite piped in through my PC so I can capture fights, but I'm probably not buying Pac and Morales...I've never been a Morales fan, and Pacman is a bit one-dimensional for him to excite me very much. Except I don't type using the homekeys and I only use three fingers on my left hand and two fingers on my right hand to type... Take your crap else where! You have to bite his head off just because he said PacMan is one-dimensional..Tell me what other weapon PacMan has besides his power. JMM proved how one-dimensional he is, by pulling a come from behind draw. jack_the_rippuh 03-02-2005, 10:47 PM No reason to get annoyed, buddy...you like your fighters, I'll like mine. You have to realize that alot of the Pac fans (not all) are people who can't be talked to...You say one negative thing about Pacman, they get their panties into a knot.. As for the fight, I don't care who wins, I just can't wait for it to be over.. IwatchBoxing 03-02-2005, 10:48 PM You're a pretty fast typist. I'm up there too, in typing speed. Except I don't type using the homekeys and I only use three fingers on my left hand and two fingers on my right hand to type.... I use only one hand to type, my right hand, one finger, the long one next to the thumb. P.S. Do the webcam thing, sounds good, I want to see this fight live too, but I'm not ordering it, too cheap. AIR_KENG 03-02-2005, 10:52 PM ****, that's the first time I've ever had anyone get pissed off at me for not buying a PPV event so they could get a round-by-round account. he wasn't really pissed because of the round by round coverage but how you made your point dude... as for any fan, you wouldn't want your favorite fighter criticized as 1-dimensional or un exciting or something like that... Stickman 03-02-2005, 10:53 PM You're a pretty fast typist. I'm up there too, in typing speed. Except I don't type using the homekeys and I only use three fingers on my left hand and two fingers on my right hand to type... Yep, I learned the basics in high school, but in the last 10 years or so I've been doing alot of bids and proposals on state and federal jobs, and they all have to be typed, and lain out in a certain way, and I've always been a quick study. Who'd a thunk that I'd go from 22 WPM to 100 WPM between the ages of 30 and 40 :D You have to bite his head off just because he said PacMan is one-dimensional..Tell me what other weapon PacMan has besides his power. JMM proved how one-dimensional he is, by pulling a come from behind draw. No big deal, I normally don't even respond to tripe like that, but since he wasn't completely abusive and profane every other word, I figured that the least I could do was reply without getting irate, so he could see how easy it is. ;) Stickman 03-02-2005, 10:56 PM he wasn't really pissed because of the round by round coverage but how you made your point dude... as for any fan, you wouldn't want your favorite fighter criticized as 1-dimensional or un exciting or something like that... People criticize my favorite fighters all the time, I never get angry about it. If I reply at all, I just give my point of view, without insults. Works better that way, really ;) [EDIT] By the way, fellas....have a listen to some Benny Goodman, or Artie Shaw while you're sitting at your PC and reading these forums. Hell, you'll be having too much fun to get pissed off at someone's written words :D AIR_KENG 03-02-2005, 10:56 PM anyway, if you'll pushthrough with the webcam thing, tell me so i can watch it over the net... it sucks because the "so-called" live feed here in the philippines is 3 or 4 hours late... just like the JMM-MP fight, we were just about to start the 1st round when my brother called up and told me it was a draw... sucks... Hell, you'll be having too much fun to get pissed off at someone's written words :D good for you... just try to understand dude, manny is the only legit world-class boxer from the philippines right now, and some of us support him to the point of being stupid... i for one have been that way before... Tell ya what, buddy, if my boxing-buddies here decide they want to watch Pac and El Terrible, I'll buy the fight and do both a blow-by-blow, and I'll upload it onto that Yousendit thingy (haven't tried that yet) as soon as it's over, though with my DSL, it'll take a few hours, depending on what size I capture at. I won't know until I talk to them this coming weekend, but as soon as I find out, I'll let you fellas know. And believe me, I can understand your frustration over not being able to get the fights when they actually air. We don't have cable TV in my area (farm country), and I got satellite TV just for boxing, nothing else.
