Yeah, and if you look at Tyson he uses a punch for the distance to block his opponents vision, bobs and weaves into position, and BAM!!! He's right in your face.

winkly wright

winky uses the cage defense as his style
he doesnt use peek a boo ala mike tyson

if winky does then its higly altered

peek a boo was made
to slip punches and get inside

winky keeps his hands up as defense only

Keep your knees bent, keep your balance, move inside on a good hard jab. Keep your gloves together and your hands facing straight out so that you can look just over the tops of your gloves. Keep your entire upper body moving espcially your head, once you get inside explode with hooks use 3 punch combinations. Watch video's of Jose Torres, Floyd Patterson, and Mike Tyson, they are all ex champions and Cus Damato peek a boo style fighters

Work on your leg muscles in the gym. You'll need big ones to really throw those killer hooks inside. Tysons were 28" and his calvs were 18".

This is the best photo I could find. They are ususally held higher. He was probably at enough of a distance to have them that low.

it doesn't have to be a la mike tyson for it to constitute being a peek-a-boo style... all that means is that both hands are kept by the head before and immediately after all punches, unlike the common, jab hand by the waist/shoulder relaxed style that most pros use.

Yea, to bad Cus D'amato didn't write a book, or make an instructional book for fighters to study.
