I believe he will defend his titles for the 21st time against jermaine taylor. This should be hopkins toughest fight for as long as i can remember and it will be interesting to see if he can beat the future of the middleweight division.

from taylors last fight
i was not impressed at all....
he was getting caught with SO many punches...
he looked beautiful against alex bunema and raul marquez but they were smaller guys, did u see the way in his last fight his opponent would throw a combination and taylor would back straight up and eat all of them. He can not fight that way against hopkins, it seems if taylor wants to he could stop his opponents but he doesnt, in his bout with joppy, i think it could've been over in the 4th round if he became more aggressive.
He needs to train with Emanuel Steward. :boxing:

but i think Hopkins should fight Glen Johnson first. Since Trinidad has a fight coming up, and taylor should get one more fight before he fights hopkins.

First he should fight Johnson, then Trinidad, then Taylor.
Then retire and his name hits the books, then he could be recognized as one of top5-10 best middleweights of all time, and relax.

He should retire before he ****s
his legacy over, he is going down
as one of the great middleweights,
but if he ****s up and gets KO'ed
much like Jones people are gonna think,
less of him.

Who you think it be.

Its gotta be Calzaghe, there two fighters with massive world championship reigns, who are only a few pound in weight different.

Its easily the best fight out there, but IMO Hopkins fears the wild puncher.

im my book he was great a long time ago,
idk i guess i dont want him to mess up,
i tought RJJ was untouchale, then the
bubble busted soo fast, i dont want the same to
happen to Hop.

At 40 years old, nothing from here on can damage his legacy. He has everything to gain by taking risks.

B-hop should face taylor and beat him b/c taylor is gonna rule that division for years. hop will still be seen as the king if he has beaten the man who is the best in the division.

Taylor is the only person I would like Hopkins to fight at the

moment.

I'm the only one who picked Sturm. I don't think Hopkins is interested in a fight with Taylor. I think he'll fight Sturm and ten retire fighting Tito Trinidad...

Sturm wouldn't get close to hopkins. He would be easily outboxed.

Taylor would Ko Sturm as he is MUCH MUCH faster.

From looking at their fights. Taylor has faster feet than him, I don't know about handspeed. Taylor can get in, hit you with a three punch combo, and get out...

That would be an excellent fight, between two fighters that are about the same caliber. I would give the edge to Sturm because he fought DLH, and IMO beat him. Taylor looks more impressive and flashy, but Sturm is extremely technical. He might utilize a jab on Taylor if they fought. Something Taylor has never dealt with.

We all know that the real money fight for him is against Trinidad..

I think Hop will fight Tito again and Taylor will fight sturm. And that will set up a superfight between Bhop and Taylor. Taylor has better footspeed than sturm but sturm does have fast hands. However Sturm does not have the power to hurt Taylor and Taylor has power and will either bust sturm up for 12 rounds or knockhim out.

He should retire before he ****s his legacy up like RJJ

That's wont happen. RJJ's legacy is fine, as will B-Hop's be if he loses. As time passes fighters are remembered more for their true greatness, not losses they incurred at an old age.
