Could anyone who's played EA Sports' Fight Night Round 2 please post a review of the game here?

There are already a lot of reviews from various sites, including IGN, GameSpy, and GameSpot (w/video review, free). But I'm guessing you want to hear it from real boxing fan, correct?

Played the game a little bit last night...and from my first impression, I like it.

Graphics have improved, it's good to have Tigger out of there so I can focus on boxing and not who's getting a shout-out.

My only complaints so far are that I don't like the haymaker **** and the training. I've fought in five fights...like three opponents who threw ONLY haymakers and it's aggravating. Training is pretty corny this time around...maybe it'll grow on me but I like Fight Night 2004's better.

Lots of options on Create a Boxer that're pretty cool.

All around it gets a definate thumbs up on my first impression.

haymaker **** is what makes the game better you get basic punched but if you counter anyones punch with a haymaker 1 punch kd its awesome

I didn't even think last years was that good. It was supposed to improve on button mashing but it just became about analog controller mashing. I could stand in one place and just bob/weave and counterpunch. I didn't move all fight.
I still think I prefer 2001/2002.

Its what it's meant to be a game not a reality show? If they want to see the real outcome between a middleweight and a HVY they need common sense not a game...
It's a great game my son enjoys it.

Who are the best fighters to play with in the game? Is Cotto any good, last year Trinidad sucked, just heard Mayorgas really good.

I have yet to play it, but my main complaint last year was that there were very few "flash" knockdowns and absolutely no "one punch" knockouts.

The only real way to stop someone was to repeatedly land shots and watch his energy meter go down. Then if the guy was quick he could run away until his health came back. If indeed the haymaker feature allows for flash knockdowns and knockouts, then I'll be very very pleased I'm sure.

I still think I prefer 2001/2002.you could change it to buttons, but I saw a clip and this year you have to help your fighter with his cutts in between rounds and have alot more options for career mode
