What channels is going to be on?

Sky Sports have the rights to it but not sure if they are puttin it on SBO.

Yeah it was Sky Box Office when the fight was originally slated for July but now there is no mention as what they are doing with it. If it's box office i'll probably pay for it just because i'm not paying my Setanta subscription anymore and at this point i'll just pay for any boxing I can get with the TV-Boxing situation is so dire in the UK at the moment.

I've heard its on SS1.

Yeah i've been checking Sky Sports website every week to see if they are gonna be showing the Super Six Tournament or any other boxing but they have no news on Mayweather-Marquez. This probably means that they haven't even made their own minds up yet, although if its gonna be box office then they need to decide soon and start plugging it as Friday Night Fights will be starting again this Friday and surely during the ad breaks for that would be a great way to start. As a non sky sports customer, I would rather actually see it on box office cos I would rather pay and be able to watch it on the big screen rather than a stream if I can.

Either that on they haven't decided yet whether it'll be on SS1 or SBO, it would be wierd if they didn't show the fight at all, especially after bringing both fighters over for a press tour when the fight was originally scheduled for July.

when i checked the website earlier today i saw a link that said "super 6". YYYEEESSSS was my reaction, they must be showing the tourny. I like football, and betting on football but I was gutted when it was about guessing 6 football scores correctly winning u £100,000

the original fight was going to be on Sky box office,thats why Floyd came over to England.
Obviously it didnt sell if there now showing it on SS1

Wish it was on SBO. I don't mind paying £15 for this fight rather than have to subscribe to SkySports for like 3 months at £34 a month.

I heard there trying to build a fanbase over in the uk so the press tour
was about promoting the fight on sky sports 1 not box office it was never intended for box office so they could build on floyds profile in hopes of dropping him on ppv for future big fights ie Pac/Cotto etc..

It might be, but because its such a big fight all around... I think you will find all streams will be taken down.

I have just ordered a month of Sky Sports just in case, this fight is worth it for me, if I think its worth it I will pay some money to watch it on the TV in good quality, then there isn't risk of it being taken down like a stream...

I don't know any pub opened past 2:00 a.m. I don't know how expensive a late licence is, but I'd imagine it's bloody expensive.

All our pubs our brewery owned in London really.

Real late-night drinking only exists in small towns and villages. When I was in Kerry a few weeks ago I was in a pub till 5 and 6 respectively. A family-run pub in a village will seemingly do whatever it pleases. No Londoner or city dweller is going to want to work past 2:00 a.m for somebody else. I wouldn't anyway.

We don't have 24hour open bars but some locals do decide to have lock-ins which normally stays open til 6.30am. Well my local does anyways. Some weekends don't get out of their til around 6am. Normally when Hatto is on in at daft o'clock the fella stays open til the fight finishes but gotta know him well for him to let you stay behind.

Casino's always stay open and they always show the big boxing events on Sky.

I thought it was Sky SPorts 2... but I don't care what it's on. It's not PPV! And I was gonna buy it originally.

Fingers crossed they show all the undercard. sky are quite good at the undercard fights, they get alot of them on. It's shapeing up to be a good card with escobedo vs katsidis (that will be good as all katsidis's fights are very entertaining) john vs juarez (interesting fight i wouldnt mind watching and of course the return of mayweather, not really bothered who wins but it will good to get mayweather back and see a great technical fight.
