However, I don't like even going to the same gym as any of my friends because I come there to work hard, and not to socialize. In my oppinion this is a good way to spar if your first starting out, but you need to regulate your power, watch how hard your hitting, focus on other things such as footwork, head movement, defense etc. But as you progress you should spar people you dont know, but make sure your trainer supervises it. xxMidgetxx 08-29-2009, 06:33 PM Yea same thing here but I didn't feel bad he wanted to spar with me in the first place. But he never took advantage and went for the k.o. We went at it full throttle most of the time, but everyone of us had a mutual understanding, we don't take each other out if the opportunity arises. Akucapri 08-29-2009, 07:02 PM It feels good to lay it out on him ... Didn't return my £20, Ugh left hook to the body Forgot to bring around dvd back in 1998, Ugh Straight Right x 10 .. You don't feel too ****ty to post/brag about it.haha. VERSATILE2K12 08-29-2009, 07:18 PM Well anyway, I've sparred a few friends of course not going too hard but I do it to practice things that I wanna do. Just with low power, nothing is better then a live body. rmz 08-30-2009, 02:28 AM I consider a lot of my teammates at the gym friends so I'm sparring with friends all the time. I just remember that we're both in there to work and any damage we do is not intentional or fueled by vengeance. It's just part of the sport. Tu Pai 08-30-2009, 08:02 AM just keep your cool and remember its only sparring, no dirty ****. Spartacus Sully 08-30-2009, 08:17 AM did you lay him out or just stagger him alittle? were you like my bad and was he like its cool? unless he was like why the hell did you do that i dont see a problem with the situation though if you try to go easier he will probably want to spar more |
