View Full Version : KT v Judah Rematch @ 147
davico 03-01-2005, 07:21 PM Just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on thi fight as I think it a big chance of happening early next year. IMO the move up in weight would be more of an advantage ot KT as Judah is that little slower at the higher weight, and the rise in weight would only enhance KT's power as he is naturally a heavier guy anyway. I think that the fight would go for longer this time but I could see KT by TKO in 7 or 8.
Mr. Violence 03-01-2005, 07:24 PM I can't wait to see this happen. I like both these fighters. :boxing:

I think Judah will duck KT, unless they make it a mandatory fight.
If they do fight, Judah punches hard enough to get him outta there, but since he was already KO'd by Tszyu he will respect him too much to just come in like he did with Spinks.
Should be an interesting bout, I give Tszyu the benefit of the doubt for the win, with a TKO/KO before round 4.
mic573 03-01-2005, 07:30 PM If Judah's last fight is any indication of how he will fight from now on I say he wins a decision. Tszyu can and will make it tough but I think Judah can stay away from that big punch long enough. He also won't be stupid enough to stand and try to trade with Tszyu the way Mitchell did. Hand and foot speed should get him a hard earned decision.
Then again if his last fight was just a temporary adjustment then I say Tszyu eventually catches up to him and puts him down and stops him again. Really it's all up to Judah if he comes focused he will win if not he won't. I picked Judah the first time and judging on thier last fights I would still pick Judah again.
Kimmy 03-01-2005, 07:35 PM Can`t redeem all of Judahs faults through one good performance. Judah has a terrible chin, it is a fact of life and Tsyzu knows it. Theonly thing Judah proved in his fight with Tsyzu is that when the going gets tough he quits and assaults the ref. Judah is a great on top fighter, when he`s winninghe is good but he can`t take it back. One of those fighters who are either in a one sided win or a one sided loss, the spinks loss i feel wasn`t as close, i think Spinks won the first fight quite confortably!
If Zab stay focus all fight i belive he would win a rematch
Warrior Spirit 03-01-2005, 07:41 PM Tsyzu wins by 8th round TKO. Judah would be a fool to fight Koysta again, because he will get beat again. If Judah does fight him again, he is a fool, but I respect for wanting to avenge his loss but it is not a smart business move. If Judah loses, and he will, he goes back down to the bottom of the totem pole and will have to work his way back up again. Judah should establish his legacy a little before fighting a guy that destroyed him the first time around.
mic573 03-01-2005, 07:52 PM Judah didn't quit in the first fight and he didn't get destroyed in my opinion. He got caught with a good punch and he wanted to continue so I wouldn't say he quit. I don't argue the stoppage though. His chin isn't all that great but if he doesn't give Tszyu the opportunity then he won't get caught. He can outbox Tszyu.

judah will probably pull a sugar ray leonard style, and wait until tszyu is 40 years old, then rematch him..
mic573 03-01-2005, 08:45 PM Judah has been wanting a rematch for quite sometime now so I wouldn't say he would duck Tszyu. If Tszyu wants to be champ at welterweight then he has to go through Judah.
Ptownz_fynestz 03-01-2005, 08:45 PM my opinion he won't survive traing with him but he might if he smart bout tha fight
Ptownz_fynestz 03-01-2005, 08:46 PM if he trades with him
Chadmack 03-01-2005, 08:53 PM good match, ive been waiting for that rematch to happen. but whatever the weight is, i just dont see judah winning over KT...
Floydmayweather 03-01-2005, 09:57 PM Judah is a more patient fighter than now then he was when he fought Zoo. I think Zab would use his speed and punching power to take Zoo out late. I really think the first fight was a fluke.
enadeus 03-01-2005, 10:19 PM Why would Judah duck Tazyu? He said in the pre and post fight interview that he wanted to fight him next.
jason power 03-01-2005, 10:49 PM Judah is a more patient fighter than now then he was when he fought Zoo. I think Zab would use his speed and punching power to take Zoo out late. I really think the first fight was a fluke.Heard the same thing the fist time to quick to strong.the same when KT fought mithcell KT wouldnt handle Sharmbas speed.what happend to both fighters they gotknocked the **** out.belive me fisrt time round was no fluke just saved Judah from further punnishment.Zab will look good early win a few rounds then KT will start to break him down and
deliver the killer right again goodnite Zab.KT is very good a slipping punches and taking most of them on his gloves. Please bring it on
reality 03-01-2005, 10:53 PM That would be a great fight to make. I have no doubt Tszyu is itching for that fight especially as the Undisputed Welterweight title would be on the line.
Zab Super Judah 03-01-2005, 10:53 PM judah has a better chance against tsyzu than he does vs mayweather and cotto.....I think judah beats tsyzu.....tsyzu has lots of holes in his defense but is as strong as a ox...Id go with judah maybe by late stoppage

Tszyu's ring generalship really spelled the difference, speed was simply offset by KT's power and tactics...
Zab Super Judah 03-01-2005, 11:42 PM judah had tsyzu hurt in the 1st round......so judah can hurt tsyzu......they both can hurt each other. in this fight.....i hope this fight happens
shadymg 03-01-2005, 11:46 PM isn't this all on the assumption that Tszyu gets past Hatton
hahahahhahahahaha....ok, sorry, couldn't keep the serious face.
Anyhow, i would LOVE to see this fight, the first fight wasn't a FLUKE per say, but he did get that one great punch, like Tarver against RJJ, and Judah does have a lot of confidence right now. I still say Tszyu wins tho :-)
Hurlex 03-01-2005, 11:49 PM IF cotto got rocked by a weak puncher like corely and weighting 17pounds more then him(at 154 light middleweight)then Judah has a huge chance against cotto also...UMM rematch...KT by ko around the 6-7round he will catch Judah again
shadymg 03-01-2005, 11:54 PM hey Hurlex, but don't u think that Judah would really be hurt and his power wouldn't be felt as much at the higher weight? i mean, sure he hurt spinx, but only at the end of the 1st fight, mid 2nd, and still no 1 punch knockout
!!Captain 03-01-2005, 11:58 PM isn't this all on the assumption that Tszyu gets past Hatton

Judah does have a lot of confidence but I think he will always remember that punch that made Judah perform the famous, the one and only, woted one of the funniest knockouts of all times, THE CHICKEN DAAAAAAAANCE. Once you get KO'd like that it stays with you for a long time. I think Judah would be a lot more careful in the rematch which would allow KT set up his right any way he wants it. KT by TKO/KO by 8. I think that this fight would be no less exciting than KT vs. Hatton, probably even more.
hellfire508 03-02-2005, 12:09 AM hmmm...i think a rematch at 147 would be awesome.
Personally i would pick zoo...he is just to powerful for judah. He has the tools to beat judah. I think it would last at least 6 or 7 rounds before a KT KO.
Zab Super Judah 03-02-2005, 12:12 AM i guess im the only one that thinks hatton has a chance vs zoo
shadymg 03-02-2005, 12:15 AM i guess im the only one that thinks hatton has a chance vs zoo
seriously? well, if u wanna see zab-zoo anytime soon, u should pray we're right
but seriously, hatton don't have a chance :-)
floigan 03-02-2005, 02:58 AM I think Zab has a good chance at 147 at this point. I think Zab is more mature at this point and is more focused on what he needs to do. Tszyu is old, but the way he blew Mitchell out, and Zab's shaky chin, I give him a good shot. Actually, I see him knocking Zab out again. The only thing I worry about is Tszyu eating all those punches. His defense isn't the best, and when he gets hit, it looks very bad. But he takes the punches, and knocks the other guys out, so he handles his business.
The way I see it, Zab still has that KO in the back of his head. He knows Tszyu can hurt him, so I think he'd try to box Tszyu from the distance, do a little running, and every once in awhile jump in with hard shots, then start running again. In the end though, I just don't see Zab in the ring with Tszyu for 12 rounds without getting caught and having his lights turned out. Tszyu by late stoppage.
