View Full Version : I've got 25 bucks what should I get? xxMidgetxx 08-25-2009, 10:25 PM Right now I know I need hand wraps and wondering how much do I need, and what brand. Also for the left over cash I got should I get a mouth guard, hand wrap roller, etc. THE REED™ 08-25-2009, 10:27 PM Id go with the Mexican hand wraps, 180's... theyre only like 8 or 9 bucks... supRa 08-26-2009, 02:40 AM have u seen those evergel wraps!???!! Phenomkidd 08-26-2009, 06:52 AM You don't need a handwrap roller unless you got all the essentials covered and got money to blow. Handwraps, mouthguard, etc. rskumm21 08-26-2009, 09:51 AM You should save it for the next time you need something. Just cause you have it doesn't mean you gotta spend it. xxMidgetxx 08-26-2009, 12:41 PM Well I do need a few handwraps. Plus I have evergel handwraps and they barely fit with my gloves I just use em when I go on the speed bag. Joachim 08-26-2009, 01:09 PM 180s are kinda big. if you dont have a mouth guard, that would be a good bet fdotorres 08-26-2009, 01:25 PM 180s are kinda big. if you dont have a mouth guard, that would be a good bet you think so? damn... i use 285' and i'm still looking for some knuckle guards or sponge :nonono: Joachim 08-26-2009, 01:45 PM you think so? damn... i use 285' and i'm still looking for some knuckle guards or sponge :nonono: girl hands :D Joachim 08-26-2009, 01:51 PM girl hands :D oh man i just took a whiff of mine and they smell like cheese. Pretty Boy32 08-26-2009, 02:31 PM lol my trainer (3 time champ) disagrees with you :boxing: who's your trainer then? :bs2: fdotorres 08-26-2009, 02:32 PM who's your trainer then? :bs2: wilfredo vazquez sr. he trains in bayamon EDIT: didn't notice the B.S. smiley. what's so hard to believe? a lot of retired boxers train on local gyms rmz 08-27-2009, 01:58 AM A mouthpiece, wraps, and a cup. *Jean_Pierre* 08-27-2009, 11:06 AM THis is probably what you do not what to hear but invest in towel, head and wrist sweatbands. It is unhygenic to leave sweat all over the gym. Joachim 08-27-2009, 02:31 PM 285s are huge. how many times you loop around your nuckles ?? like 9? lol fdotorres 08-27-2009, 03:25 PM 285s are huge. how many times you loop around your nuckles ?? like 9? lol much, much more times i think xxMidgetxx 08-28-2009, 12:03 PM Wow, well my cousin bought me 3 everlast wraps that were 108... Good enough for me I have small hands anyway. Iuno about mouthguard or cup since I won't be sparring for a while, but I'm looking at a maize bag since thats the only thing I can install into my house besides the heavy bag I already have. Plus I love to slip ^_^, and I already have wristbands not sure about head bands. Phenomkidd 08-28-2009, 02:05 PM 108? Lol I don't think I could use those, I stick with 180 mexicans or semi-elastics (same thing). As for the slip bag some people use tennis balls with a string, you could buy a slip bag from title though for like 19.99. I might do that lol just cause I'd rather use that then a tennis ball, aesthetics haha. xxMidgetxx 08-29-2009, 05:31 PM Actually ringside sells it for 11 dollars because of the 15% sale and free shipping. |
