Anyone know what he's doing these days? Is he in or out of jail??

What a waste of a life.

I'm embarassed to say that I've never seen this guy fight, I read that his style didn't make him a crowd pleaser, but I am a fan of stylists. I'll have a look out for some of his fights.

The guy was a great fighter, he was as slick as they come, kind of like a much smaller Byrd, but with much more body movement. If you like true boxers, you'd like him.

Nab had said "what a waste of a life." Unfortunately thats how many fighters end up after their careers. there is a great book out that goes in deep with what fighters deal with during and AFTER their careers are over. The book is called Beyond The Ring. Simmons I believe was the author. Anyway, I highly recommend this book to anybody that wants a look inside of a fighters life and what he deals with.............Rockin'

Pernell Whitaker was one of the greatest fighters to ever enter the ring, what do you mean by waste of life?
