Not sure how this is bad if your a Jay-Z fan. I'm critical of Jay-Z when i see something to be critical of. for example, I thought Jockin Jay-Z's 2nd and 3rd verse were weak. I also didn't like the hook.

I hope so... Dude has been hit and miss lately IMO, but I'm hoping with all the production help he got that this album will be good. One thing is for sure there is plenty of hype around it... that can be good and bad... hopefully Jigga can live up to the hype with this one.

I didnt really like the songs that leaked off Relapse and it ended up being a pretty good album so I'm not going to judge the whole album based on these tracks. I am a little skeptical though I wont lie...

BP2 = Pure Garbage
Black Album = Classic or as close as you can get w/o being a classic.
Kingdom Come = See BP2
American Gangster = 3.5/4 - 5... solid album.

The 1 disc version was probably a 3/5... the 2 disc version was garbage. It was painfully obvious when they decided to make a 1 disc version, and even that was not all that great. Plus his cover of Me and My Girlfriend was straight up doo doo... Totally trashed a classic Pac track.

Let me rephrase... In terms of Jay Z's own catalogue BP2 is near the bottom. I expect a lot of of Jay, and BP2 didnt do it for me. Like you said agree to disagree...

I will say this though... go look at the customer reviews for BP2 compared to his other albums and its hard to argue that album was anything better than average.

oh i'm not saying it was a classic. i'm just saying that i liked it.

i thought vol. 3 was a nice jay album too.
