View Full Version : If you haven't already check out the Washington Husky basketball team...
This is one exciting basketball team which includes
NAte Robinson who at 5'7" can pack it over the big men and out rebound them when he needs to as well.
Tre Simmons-who next to JJ Redick may be the best three ball shooter in basketball.
Bobby Jones-if you like tough mother ****ers that can do everything he is your man.
Jamaal Williams-Plays like Charles Barkley and I urge you to find someone at 6'5" with a better back to the basket game.
Will Conroy-the bernard Hopkins of the team...he is a junkyard dog who passes first..all he cares about is winning!
Brandon Roy-most believe he is the best player on the team..he can shoot and is always around the rim jamming the misses home...Brandon defines the word smooth!
Mike Jensen-6'8" white kid who can shoot the three, has had a bad year so far but he can play...he proved it at times and was awesome last year.
Hakim Rollins-Senior who is tough and gritty and can run with the rest of them.
Joel Smith-feshman who is going to be a star...he plays alot and can shoot the three or pack it on you whatever you like.
Thats right they are 9 deep! Sure UNC has a better starting five but they cannot run with Washington for an entire game because no one has the depth and the style of players to do it...Arizona in two games this year has almost gone exclusively to the zone agaisnt them...ARizona slowing it down...that does not happen.
Check this team out when you get a chance they are going to make a run!

Nice team, but Arizona will go further when it matters.
would you like to bet on that? Washington has won four of the last five meetings and will most likely play once more this season in the pac ten tourney...
We can bet on their next meeting or who goes farther in the tourney...which one is more appealing too you?

...They aren't battle tested to the extent that the ACC teams are. You can have em and if they meet in the round of sixteen I will take Duke, U.N.C., Maryland, or Wake to wipe the floor with em. I will give em a close look though because I haven't paid any attention to them at all and you sound pretty hyped on those guys. What kind of seeding do you think they will get in the tourney?

The Big East is freakin vicious as well. Literally anybody can beat anybody in The Big East.

Whatever. The heels go 10 deep and would run the huskies off the court. You guys had trouble with N.C. State, and they suck. Nobody wants to get into an up and down game with UNC. If you want a chance against them, you better slow it down and turn it into a half-court game for sure.

For those who think the big east is going to surprise they will be the ones who are surpised. UCLA who is not that good of a basketball team just wnet on the road to Notre Dame and easily won by ten.
The huskies are a two seed if they win out, which includes winning the pac 10 tourney.

Huskies have the #5 RPI in the nation which means more then the national rankings when it comes time for seeding.

You're right, up until last year the RPI did mean more than polls when it came to seeding, but prior to this year they tweeked the system that came up with the RPI and now many people think it is flawed. I mean it has Vermont 14th!!! I don't think they'll be getting a 4th seed in the tournamnet, they're gonna get like an 10-12 seed. The seedings this year will reflect the polls more than RPI. I think the Huskies have a very good team and will make some noise in the tournament this year. I see them getting to the sweet 16, but not to the final 8. You guys have a killer recruiting class coming in next year though, so things only look brighter for U-Dub.

i really hope they do some damage this year. they have lost two straight to lsu and kentucky but those teams especially kentucky are pretty good and they have lost to those two by an average of only 4.5 points. on espns braketology they have them right now as a 5 seed and playing buffalo in the first round, which shouldnt be too bad.

Who are the previous two year's national champs? Big East Teams. Don't count them out.

And the ACC won the previous two championships. The west hasn't won it since Arizona won in 1997.
