I wanna get into more of his material...I have Paid In Full but I'm interested in his work after he split with Eric B.

What ya'll think is his best album outside of the 80's?

I say don't sweat the technique came out in 92..but as far as more of the modern sound idk if thats what you are looking for i would say the 18th letter

YOU CAN ALSO GET THE BOOK OF LIFE WHICH HAS HIS BIGGEST HITS EARLY IN HIS CAREER

Well his best work without Eric B...I don't care if its 90's rap or sounds more modern...

I'll check out the 18th Lettter and The Book of Life...

He only has a couple right? It's definitely the 18th letter. Great album all around. One of my favorite tracks is New York you need to check that out.

The 18th Letter (1997)
The Master (1999)
The Seventh Seal (2009)

If you buy the souped up copy of 18th Letter the "Book of Life" CD comes with it. The Book of Life is basically a greatest hits from when he was with Eric B.

Be on the look out for that 7th Seal though... I know some people on here would rather worry about Joe Camel's new project but 7th Seal is where its at... *IF* it actually drops. Rakim has kept his fans waiting for too damn long... I'm still pissed that he never released those tracks he did with Dre when he was on Aftermath for that little while. He left with the masters so not sure whats up with that...
