mp3 is exclusively audio. Mpeg is typically video. Why would you need to do this?

I'm trying to add an audio clip to an mpeg compilation... maybe I'm doing it wrong.

By compilation do you mean, a folder full of Mpegs or are you trying to combine the mp3 and the mpegs into one file?

If you are trying to combine them, look for a utility called TMpeg.

Yeah, I've got that but it won't let me do the mp3 bit... unless I'm doing it wrong...

The second btw... I'm trying to compile some fight clips into one and put a song over all of them. Sad I know, but I wanted to wind down...

You are trying to put in new audio? Oh you need a different utility all together. You need a video editing utility.

The first version of TMPGenc used to let me do it, but doesn't now...

Oh, while you're here, would you happen to know how I can decrease the bitrate on outgoing files? I'm using the software to combine three files into a complete fight, but it's over 1gb. I need it to be at least half that but I can't find out how... on the original version it was easy.

Cropping images too?

I tell you what, forget every question I've asked in this thread. I'd had to renew my TMPENG software as my trial ran out, and I'd renewed the wrong one! No wonder it didn't work the same! What a turnip I am!!!
