Last weeks show was pretty interesting and ironic as the grappler from the striker's team beat the striker from the grappler's team. Any idea if we get to see another fight tonight? I think I remember the preview showing something about some LHW match dispute.
There seems to be a lot of fighters left with about a month until the Finale. Speaking of which, it's been confirmed that UFC stars Rich Franklin and Ken Shamrock are going to face eachother at the live ****e TV event. Personally, I'm favoring Franklin as he has been far more consistent. Besides, Shamrock hasn't spent a lot of time in the ring and his last win came against a faded and slow Kimo.
Can't wait to see the rest of the card.

No input on Shamrock/Franklin? Ken is pretty ancient but still in great shape - on the other hand Ace is just badass. I'm guessing TKO or SUB win for Franklin, Round 2.

This fight is to get Franklin a win over a big name on t.v. He is going to beat Shamrock silly.

Shamrock was never a badass. His biggest win in MMA wasn't even an MMA fight. It was a pancrase rules fight in his victory over Bas Rutten.
Shamrock is a good face for the sport, but his actual skills are suspect.

To say that his skills are suspect is to say everyone whoever trained with him including Frank and all the Lion's Den guys are suspect to a degree. No way he could be around the fighters or venues for all the years he has and be "suspect".
Now, old maybe; losing it somewhat, probably. But "suspect"; nawwww.

I mean suspect in the sense that he isn't nearly as good as people think.

The thing about Shamrock is he is dangerous, but not at the level that UFC pushed him at in the early days. Possibly MMA journeyman status, but with much more popularity.
