This was such a one off performance for Douglas against a poor Tyson that it is a reach to start saying who he will beat one that basis.
Sure he had talent and put in a career best performance that night but look at Louis Against Schmelling in the 2nd fight or against Baer and so forth.
I guess you could make a case that performance against ATG's on a poor day might bring him some success but prime v prime I can't see it.

It's hard to say how he would have done against the all-time greats, since he only performed to the best of his abilities one time and disappointed otherwise. Very difficult to discount his lackluster performances against Holyfield, Tucker, Ferguson and White despite the incredible upset of Mike Tyson.

That version of Douglas had the size and the talent to trouble any of the greats. But much like Riddick Bowe, his best incarnation only showed up once, so it's difficult to rate him.

Given how his whole career panned out, who would really back a motivated, in-shape Buster to turn up against the Alis, Louis' and Marcianos of this world?

He also beat McCall and Berbick, for what its worth. I like Buster, but it was really stupid of him to throw away his career like that, not to mention to accept those pizzas from Duva!:rolleyes:
