Why are you acting so suprised? Boxrec compiles its rankings basically on who you've beat and who you've lost to and the number of each. Erdei is undefeated and Tiozzo's only lost to Hill. They also both won this weekend which bumped Tiozzo up from around 10 and Erdei up from 3.

Those ranking are a joke and everyone knows it. Erdei has 2 hometown decisions against Garay. DM got stopped in his comeback fight and gets ranked top10? I'll take Johnson, Tarver and Briggs against anyone else in the top 20.

This just in people Erdei beat Garay in the first match. It wasn't a gift decision. The second match was. Garay's only losses are to Erdei. He's young (24), he has a good TKO win over Lakatus, and I expect big things from him in the future.

I haven't seen it. How about someone posting it. German TV only showed part of the fight. They showed the first two rounds, part of the 8th and 11th and the whole 12th. Garay won rounds 1 and 12 and Erdei won the 2nd. From what I've heard from people who saw the fight, 115-113 or 116-112 Garay seemed to be the right score.

That is arguably the most retarded list of LHW's ever compiled.

DM does not belong on the top 10. He is a shot nobody.

Tomasz Adamek is 17th?!
That aiin't right
He should be ranked alot higher
I figured he would score top 10
Maybe even top 15 at least
Not 17th, Not very happy

I think based on accomplishments, Briggs, Harding, Harmon, Johnson, and Tarver should all be ranked higher than this Erdei cat, especially since he just lost to a nobody.

Sorry, but a win is a win. Briggs has beaten no one, Harding has won 1 of his past 3 fights and he barley beat Telesco, Harmon has also won 1 of his past 3 fights, and Tarver has won 1 of his past 3 fights and he lost his last fight to Johnson.

In all reality it should be
1) Johnson
2) Erdei
3) Tarver

Yeah, but he's young and he's not beaten anyone. We'll have to wait and see how he does against Briggs.

Well there are many fighters that come to name before a puppet like Erdei...Nothing against the guy personally, but he is nowhere near worthy of being a world champion...not even a lesser know belt like the wbo....

Make sure you tell that to the future IBF LHW champion.

well it is true.......if he struggled clearly against a young garay at home, then how can you call him a champ....

paul briggs would knock him out easily....because garay kept hitting him with hard shots, but obviously garay isn't a steel fist like briggs..

but nobody here in the states has heard of erdei....so where are his championship merits?

I wouldn't take much notice of their rankings, its a great website to check for fighters records but if you want to see good rankings check out Ring Magazines or ********* rankings.

As of friday, Ring Magazine and ********* both had DM and RJJ still in the top 5 for LHW which is insane.

He is going to destroy Briggs, It's going to be one hell of a night for Golota and Adamek.

I really want to respect you, but at times you make it very difficult, man. At least pretend you have some sense, brother.

You're right. Johnson and Tarver don't even belong in the top 5. What have either of them done besides beat a shot RJJ. Mark up Johnson's 9 losses with wins against Woods and a shot Harding and Tarver's wins against shot versions Reggie Johnson, Griffin, and Harding and I don't see what you are getting at. How about you make a top 10 list.

You're a little off your rocker, dude. Everyone knows that half of those losses Johnson suffered were very bad decisions rendered in someone else's hometown. Johnson KO'd Thomas Ulrich whom I'm sure you thought was going to be hot ****. If Johnson hadn't gotten the Kayo, Ulrich would have won on the scorecards almost without a doubt.

Johnson just beat Tarver, in a close fight. Johnson beat Woods, and yes, Woods is a top 10 LightHeavy, so that win is significant. He was able to beat Woods in his hometown (twice in most people's eyes). There was never a need for a rematch but the judges were biased or just sucked, even according to the Brits.

Johnson's draw with undefeated Daniel Judah was a farce. Judah after the fight stated simply, "I thought I lost the fight." Johnson also has a win over Eric Harding, who recently won in his comeback fight vs David Telesco I believe.

Johnson lost a hard-fought majority decision to Julio Gonzalez, who was the first to really beat Dariusz Michalczweski (your man). Johnson had a highly disputed decision rendered against him vs Sven Ottke.

As for Tarver, whether Roy was old or not, at least he was able to be competitive with Roy in the 1st fight and beat him in the 2nd fight. He beat Johnson in a lot of people's eyes. He one-punch KO'd Eric Harding in a rematch. He beat Montell Griffin all over the ring, who recently beat "undefeated" up and comer Rico Hoye in most people's opinion.

Erdei has one win over a top 10 lightheavy, and that's over an old Julio Gonzalez. That's IT. Erdei is more well known for having questionable decisions in his favor vs unknown fighters from Argentina than anything else.

Erdei does not belong in the top 3, period. I think the top 10 is fair, but the top 3...nope.

I was joking about Tarver and Johnson, but I am standing by my 1) Johnson 2) Erdei and 3) Tarver. Being the linear champ means something. How is 28 old? Gonzalez just stopped Telesco being the first person to do so, and Telsco nearly beat Harding. I also missed your top 10 list.
