Cotto's still a elite fighter, Chop Chop was always going to a tough opponent and that punch was a freak. Cotto's proven his chins good in the past.

Cotto just needs to take his time abit, he was too keen to force a stoppage and got caught. as long as he goes back to his methodical style it will be ok.

cept the difference is, tszyu's opponents were much more credible, and he started in the us, while cotto's first US fight was his 22nd fight.(not to mention the first US opponent he faced wobbled him with a shot from his off hand)(pr =lesser fighters compete there, not being racist, just the way it is.)

Kostya Tszyu was already a world Champion by his 19th pro fight and was fighting at a much higher level. Also that KO was more to do with Tszyu punching himself out than Vince Phillips going in and taking it.

I think Cotto has a poor defence, he stands in range to often just holding his hands up, he's pretty poor backed up too. But with his normal style its not a major problems, he just need to fight smart.
