View Full Version : oasis or radiohead: which band do you like more, limeys?
No Ceiling 08-19-2009, 05:19 AM radiohead are more beloved by the critics. radiohead are always in the lists of best albums/rock bands by music critics.
some radiohead fans dont like oasis because they think, they keep on making the same songs over and over (i dont get that ****). i think its because radiohead's music are more complicated, you know (more avant garde/experimental). but to me, i like them both. i cant say radiohead is much better or oasis is much better band.
Sane Man 08-19-2009, 08:06 AM I like them both. Both are talented although I would say Radiohead are more talented. But I prefer playing Oasis loud, and feeling good. You can't do that with Radiohead.

i was more familiar with oasis than radiohead in 90s because ive seen music videos of them a lot.

yeah. they made some great songs too. the bends, ok computer, kid a, are considered their best albums.

Oasis is very good as well. I can't really have an opinion of them because I own all of Radiohead's album but only 1 of Oasis's.
oasis for its simplicity and guitar friendly tracks..
radiohead is also cool in my book..
Vivid Intent 08-20-2009, 05:47 PM Oasis have some great albums, there's not a song of theirs I don't like. Standing On The Shoulders of Giants was a bit of a let down but still a good album. They were heavy into drugs at that time and partying 24/7 so they didn't really give a **** about that album.
If I had to rate Oasis albums in order I'd go...

ive listend to the bends, ok comp, kid a, hail to the thief and in rainbows
the gallagher bros likes to trask talk. lol i find that **** funny because some of them kinda make sense.
