Bone Thugs were "Horror-Core"? LOL

That Horror-Core **** was cool for the 6-7 months it was around ('94), but The Flatlinerz were really the only ones who were really over the top with it. The Gravediggaz actually could rhyme but hard dark beats, but they never really rapped about mutilating a cow or hanging themselves by a rope.

Flatlinerz album was actually kinda dope though.

I knew that somebody was gonna say that but some of their songs are close to Horrorcore. Listen again to East 1999 and you'll understand what i'm talkin about.

Out of the ones up there I'll say Brotha Lynch... Season of Da Siccness was a dope ****ing album.

Although... not having Esham or Gangsta Nip on this list is a disgrace!

Esham, and it ain't never been close competition.

Esham The Unholy, without a doubt. Not the best rhymer persay, but he basically orgininated the Horrorcore style in Detroit.

And the pool has LMAO next to ICP, I've actually been big into ICP for a while, mostly their older stuff as I do not listen to their newer stuff anymore but they have some really dope songs.

Post some Esham songs that come close to Apartment 223 or Body bag as far as creepy and disturbing. Keith's **** is the most disturbing that I've heard. Especially the skit "Mr.Ratt" on the First Come, First Served album.

like I said, Esham, and it ain't even close. he does repeat his lyrics here and there, but when you've been around for 20 years, I suppose you earn the right to get lazy here and there. Sacrificial Lambz was nasty.

Thanks for posting these songs. His tracks are good for horrorcore, no doubt. I'm not sure if I'd say it aint even close, though. I think Kool Keith has some pretty good horrorcore. Maybe even better than Esham's ****.

I think those songs are comprable and maybe better than those of Esham's that you posted.
