It happened to Tito as well, when he got knockdown twice in a round. It happen to be by a guy, Chavez destroyed with ease during his prime.

I watched Castillo I lots of time to see how exactly Mayweather loss, and I fail to see..

Quit giving this guy points to make in his arguments to defend Cotto.
Whatever you tell him here he's going to probably go to another thread and be like, "It happened to alot of great fighters, look at [blah blah blah], he had a rough start to his career."

IMO, if you looked up the defenition of a loss in boxing..

it would show you live footage from Castillo/Mayweather 1.

Mayweather running, and Castillo chasing....and landing.

Well let's not go and hijack the thread, but Castillo was getting countered all day against Mayweather.. The only reason why it looked like Mayweather was "running" was because Castillo was more interested in holding and hitting since he couldn't keep up with Mayweather

No need to take it personal, just a joke..

I said it was early, cause it was suppose to be his first loss, in a long career, and I admit I'm new to boxing, havent seen much of the old school, if any.

A young Oscar Delahoya had a tough time with a veteran John John Molina early in his career. Terry Norris was KO'd early in his fight career by Julian Jackson and still won a title. It happens. But the truely great fighters get better after these tough fights. We will have to see if Cotto improves or just caves in. Camacho Jr. fought veteran Jesse James Leja and was never the same. Only time will tell.

My point was that Terry Norris got better after that fight. It was an early bad fight for Terry who went on to win a title and in my opinion became a great fighter. It takes heart to get better. Cotto didn't lose but he did have a minor setback in his quest for a world title. He (Cotto) can still get better and has youth on his side so that is a plus.
