Who'd win in a fight between a prime Karl Malone against Ben Wallace?

They're both about 6'10" right? Both very muscular, while Karl to me is a nice guy, Ben is a baaad man. :) I see the nice guy being bullied. I could be wrong though. :D I remember Dennis Rodman gets thrown to the ground most of the time while the Mailman smiles back :)

I've always thought that to fight Shaq you'd definitely have to take out his legs 1st, just like Barkley did and that fat f*ckin' elephant would have a very hard time gettin' up and I'd move around while pounding his ass on the ground.

Haha...that's so true about Shaq. Even though just two inches lower and Brad Miller would still be in a coma today.

6'4 1/2 inch Sir Charles wouldn't stomp a mudhole in that <--------- mans ass. And that's coming from a huge Barkley fan. Barkley is my 3rd favorite player all time but...well...just look at the avatar. He should have a sign on him that reads, "avoid at all costs!"

I'm tentativly picking Ben Wallace, I think Malone is more mature as a fighter in terms of heart and toughness .

malone wins easy.in his prime he was a beast and even towards the end was one of the most fit in the nba. he only had like 2.6% body fat :eek: . malone before his last year with the lakers had only missed 11 games 6 due to suspension. karl wasnt afraid to drive on anybody shaq included. charles barkley was also very tough and i remember when he fought shaq and was feedin him shots.

Ben just has to avoid Malones elbows then he should get the victory

karl has all the advantages height, weight, strength,stamina(they say that no one could keep up with him in his offseason workouts)

He will go down in history as the most in shape athleate of all time. For a decade he kept his body fat percentage to low to measure. That's under 3%.

He beat out Michael Jordan for an MVP.

I like Ben Wallace but Karl Malone from the early 90's would destroy him.

Especially because Malone isn't afraid to bend the rules and throw elbows in Basketball, so if he kept the same attitude in boxing he's got this fight in the bag.

malone in his prime, in his MVP days, can take on ben wallace's defense, he had an array of shots in his arsenal. he can drive, post up, shoot in the mid-range, even free throws. wallace would have his hands full against malone... the MVP malone.

on the other hand, malone will have an easier time guarding wallace. ben has no perimeter game, should be set up in the post to get an easier shot. he can't create his own offense, unlike malone.

on a one-on-one match-up, malone will outscore wallace by a mile ;)

mainly because he went up against tougher, faster, and stronger power forwards in his career, from early begginings, to his prime, and late in his career. opponents such as: barkley, rodman, kemp, o'neal, garnett, bird, etc. and he averaged double figures in both rebounds and points in almost every season he is in.

in wilt's time, there were a few centers who fair closely to him, probably the toughest would be russel. i don't know about artis gilmore's time.
