I have just finished watching Ron Atkinson on wife swap, the silly ****er that he is. I wondered how everyone else percieved him as i enjoyed him as a commentator.

His defence in most arguments is non existant with regards to this. The thing i always wondered about was the other commentator and how at the time of recording didn't say anything to Ron so was he used to what Atkinson was saying or did he agree that Marcel was a Dumb, Lazy, one of them

I have yet to watch the prog, but saw the other one he made where he tries to talk to black players, and other darkies (jk), trying to understand what more he can do other than apologise.

Anyone see that?

He just didnt get it. He suggested black people should be proud of golly-wog toys!

I think he grew up in a different time when it was acceptable. I know older people the same. They use racist terms without realising why its offensive.

Hes alrite. Not a racist. Just uses those racist terms. Instead of "lazy twat" he said "lazy ******". He doesnt understand the difference. The silly fat orange potatoe faced pedo!

This is true ^. He's not a darkie hater, just from a different time when it was alright to use that kind of language.

I love me some Big Ron.

I dont think he is that racist he did help bring more black players into the game.

Yeah it was at my club, West Brom, where he played three black players in the same team for the first time ever in the top division. 'The Three Degrees' (Batson, Cunningham and Regis) were three of the best players to ever play for Albion and it really was a major breakthrough for racial equality within professional football.

Big Ron is a tool, but not a racist.
