Not a bad idea for Calzaghe.This puts some ideas into Bhops head to fight Calzaghe for his Super Middleweight Title,then fight the winner of Johnson/Tarver for the Lt.Heavyweight crown.I think a 3 division champ,along with the 20 title defences at Middleweight would sure look impressive in the History books.

I blame Calzaghe a lot because he should force Hopkins into a fight, he could face Lacy(even though Lacy doesnt deserve the shot) in the US and make a statement. If Hopkins is really running scared he should prove it.

This also shows he is touchable and therefore lacks superb boxing skill. However he does have a good punch but would be easy to avoid for a good fighter. If he steps up into light heavyweight like he is threatening i for one will enjoy him being battered in every round till he can stand no more

Weak chin?? Calzaghe's been to war with everyone of his opponents, he's been down twice in his whole career, and still got up to win. Thats really good.

Easy to avoid?? Have you seen the tempo Calzaghe fights at, he's a very fast pressure fighter. Nobody can avoid him for the full 12 rounds.

I'm no Calzaghe fan, infact i dont really like him but he's a good fighter, he's got a lot of ability.

I think its a bit more of other fighters as well not being too keen on the idea of fighting Calzaghe, Joe just gives them brillant excuses to avoid him. Its shame, i think Joe Calzaghe, if he put it all together for a superfight has the ability to do to Hopkins what Roy Jones did to him in 1993. He seems to have hid behind Frank Warren his whole career and i think Warren is a major reason for his lack of exposure to major fights. Calzaghe can run his mouth all he wants. if he really wanted to fight the big name fighters he`s break his ties with Warren and fight for peanuts on New York undercards, then he`ll get a fight!

Antwon Echols turned both his fights into a brawl with Hopkins, he even floored Hop in the first round of their first fight!
Calzaghe could stand toe to toe with Hopkns but that would give Hopkins sweet shots on the inside. The best stratgery for Calzaghe would be to box from the outside using his hand speed and slapping combos and try to steal a points dec!

Hopkins fighting Glen wateverhisnameis, is pathetic! Its just a payday for an old man. Glens ****, Tarvers ****, Jones is finished, and Hopkins is good but not great.

He deserves all respect, but he is a very solid performer. Not exciting. His win over De La Hoya only proved that Oscar cant take a half decent body shot from a middle weight.
