Since boxers are the best at comming down in weight, surely someone has a good workout plan to help me loose weight. Im trying to get in shape for basketball season in 2 months from now and Im at 245 and want to get down to 220 or maybe 215.
Also a few question that I have are:
1. Which is better roadwork or going out and running sprints (as far as helping me loose weight)?
2. Whats the quickest way to boost my metabolism?

Eat about 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals .Drink plenty of water .Some boxers drink up to 8 litre a day .Run far and fast. Some boxers run about 8 mile a day .Some ten when fight time comes round . Don't do it slow because it's long . Get your heart and lungs pumping . It's intensity that burns fat but for weight loss better long and intense

Thx alot. Do you think its unrealistic goal to be able to drop 20 pounds in a month. I mean Im 6-7 250 and want to get down to atleast 230 within a month. Just curious.

If you don't normally run and stuff like that, running 4-6 miles per day willmelt the weight off. You could lose 5 lbs in the first week if you really put in the time to do it.

Im on my way to loose weight as well and the 1st step I took was to remove the visits to Burger King/McDonalds and replace them with healthy stuff like vegetables/fruits and I went from 259lbs last Friday to 245 lbs today, 14 lbs in 8 days...no kidding. Not to forget that I no longer eat late or just before going to bed which is the worst mistake one can do if looking to loose weight.

well it looks like you have to put some effort to achieve that goal put its possible
anyways its possible with a right diet and i say you need to workout 2x a day
lift weights and run every single day but try to have at least 1 rest day with abdominal workouts every single day
