I wanted to know how the Grant professional training gloves wrist support compares against the Ringside IMF Tech gloves. I own the tech gloves and have really enjoyed them but they do seem a bit gaudy. I also own the Everlast pro training gloves and while I liked them at fist, I happened to injure my knuckle during the time when I was using them consistently and believe they might have been the cause. For anyone that has used all three of these gloves, does Grant fall in between those two?

It depends if you're talking lace up or velcro. I've owned velcro IMF and grant pro trainers, and the grants were way better. Just because of the really long cuff, it's probably safe to say the Grants provide better support, but the IMF provide excellent hand protection. Very comfortable too

Diggin' this one up from the past. How do the Grant Pro training gloves compare to the IMF tech gloves? Has anyone here used both. I've been strongly considering buying a pair of Grant's but am hesitant to drop $150. I also considered getting their pro bag gloves. Any advice on how the two compare?

man you are saving money getting the IMF's. IMF's are amazing gloves. Top quality.

IMFS offer more hand protection.

The grants offer the best wrist protection but are a bit thin at the knuckles. Eitherway I love my grants better than the IMF's...for a bit more of cash I would get the Grants..:birthday:

I have the IMF's already and there is almost too much protection over the knuckles where I barely feel like I'm hitting anything whereas my Everlast has that nice crisp pop when I hit the bag. Do the Grant's still feel like they have some pop on the punches? I appreciate all the feedback thus far.

What about the Grant's do you prefer over the IMF's?

Grant's feel a little heavier, which will give you that pop youre talking about. Also, Grant gloves will last longer because the material ringside uses tends to brake down very easily. You get what you pay for. My favorite, Reyes. If you don't dry out the Grant gloves, over time, they become much heavier.

What do I prefer over IMF's? On my grants?

It's that nice pop that it makes when I hit the bag. I throw a simple jab and pop! it makes that nice snap on the bag. I had some RS IMF's before...they made a ok snap, but I felt that they were overprotect on the knuckle area and it seem to me that they felt like pillows.

I love my Grants, its like a mix between a punchers/protection gloves....love it love it !!!
