I have concluded that I dont want to work in London, it's too big and too ****ty. I am from a smallish city, and enjoy smaller places-but big enough to have opportunities.

Bristol meets this criteria, and it's a lovely place [been there, seen it]. Any idea of where to search online for a job in Bristol?

Other cities I am considering are Reading [know it VW], Southampton and Nottingham.

Advice please. :fest30:

Live in Bristol mate.

I lived there for four years and loved it.

Really chilled out place. People are a lot friendlier than London, rent is so much cheaper than london aswell. Its a nice size city so you dont have to travel for a long time to get to places.

Also remember this, there are 2 massive uni's there, at one (UWE) the girl to guy ratio is 3 to 1. For most of the year the city is absolutely packed with fanny everywhere you go!!

I'm not too sure about whre to find work, but if you're considering moving anywhere out of them places it should be Bristol. I'm considering moving back there,

If you need to know the best places to live, hit me up!

I'm trying to find work there. I am not from London, but have worked/studied there and its ****, basically. Visited Bristol, its so beautiful and has my kind of vibe. Now just need to find a job there, proper job or something paying around £20k.

Any clues for me bro?

I had a place at Bristol University for my MA, but stayed closer to home to do it. Now, uni behind me, I seek new pastures, but not London-too big, expensive and noisy.

Not too sure mate, i was a tac dodging student when I lived there. The best bet is agencys etc. Theres the ministry of defence complex in brsitol which could be right up your street.

It might also be worth lookin for work in Bath, its not far at all from Bristol, loads of people commute to and from there.

No worries mate. You wont go wrong living there. I'm actually going there this thursday to stay with a couple of mates, who are still at uni down there!

If you need any help on the best areas to live/ go out, just hit me up and I'd be happy to share my Brizzle knowledge with you!

Good luck with the job search!!

p.s. I know there is an agency that is primarily bristol based. I cant remember for the life of me what its called, but as I'm down there I'll have a look out for you!!!

I had to read that twice and then check your location a further three times.

I know only that Clifton is the rich area, and St Paul's the **** area. Right?

I've been around the Dept of Education of Bristol University and the area immediately around that. Am actively looking for a job there.

Was in London yesterday, it's well ****.

I'm from Manchester, England and I lived there most of my life. I only recently emigrated.
