I didnt know anything about Rick combining the two until today :o so I guess it's safe to say I dont have a problem with any of you..I pretty much stick to the boxing anyway :)

there are threads that say they have both been combined on boxing scene all you have to do is do a search. i like it so far, this way there are more options of where to post and that cant be a bad thing

The more the merrier. People will tend to gravitate towards certain threads anyway.
I don't know that much about MMA, but I have seen a few fights and they were interesting. Most of you cats seem to be pretty cool, welcome to boxingscene.

I think the whole idea is cool, since I'm a fan of both MMA and Boxing. The deal seems to have been done in such a way that it encourages interaction throughout both communities, but there is nothing to say that they can't co-exisist independently as they were previous to the merger.
Carry on.

AT&T with Cingular, Nextel with Sprint, and now Boxingscene with GlobalMMA...looks like merging is in style.
I dont see what could be bad about it, I love combat sports....

That seems to be what most people think. Most MMA fans like boxing and most boxing fans enjoy MMA once they learn enough about it. There are people are both sides that are nothing but trolls and love to point out why one sport is better than the other.
To me, I can't see how someone couldn't enjoy both. How can you like one sport thats based on heart guts and balls and not like another one based on the samething?
