Grunge rock was a label that the media tried to put on the seattle music scene. Some think that grunge came about with The Melvins in the mid 80's. Punk rock was really cool back then and people wanted The melvins to play punk. The Melvins wanted to piss people off so they slowed "punk rock" way down and called it Sludge. The media changed it to grunge. So, basically, im a hypocrite and full of ****....hey that ryhmes!!! I like all of the above, especially certain Melvins. Nirvanas In Utero. and a bit of Primus....what the **** are they???
