Yeah I Saw It Bro Maybe Its Real

I missed this show but wanted to see it. So how was it? Was there any compelling evidence?

for real, lets get some details. :p

It was ok. I saw better stuff on the Sci Fi channel with Bryant Gumbel and on the Science-Discovery channel. At least it was a start! They talked about how so many credible witnesses have reported seeing them such as military pilots, President Carter, etc. They talked about abductions and how similar the peoples stories are. They talked about the Roswell crash and how the military actually admitted in the news and newspapers that it happened at first and they had in their possesion, a Flying Saucer but there seemed to be a panic brewing so they changed the story to calm down the public.

I am glad it was on a national channel but it really was nothing new!

Either way, I hope the aliens either land or attack us real soon for the following reasons.....

1-It will cause everyone who still believes in creationism to shut the **** up. well most of them anyways.
2-It will cause mass panic....even if they don't attack. Giving us the opportunity to loot our local shopping outlets.
3-Even if they do come in peace, the USA will find a reason to declare war on them anyways and we will be locked in an apocalyptic intergalactic war.....a welcome diversion from the bull**** going on in the world.
4-Racial and ethnic distinctions will mean less. Us and them means, humans and aliens.

Anybody watching this on abc? They are actually talking about ufo's on a national media outlet!If it was a move compelled by the perception that the story deserves mainstream media's attention, it was quite a leap!

And, if it was because of the feeling that mainstream media has to bend to recoup what it had lost to alternative media (cable channels, blogs, etc.) in terms of audience share, then, it was quite a stoop. ;)

Jennings was later asked if he now believes in UFOs. He answered that he still doesn't. If he still wasn't convinced, did he think the audience would be? What was the point in broadcasting something that was not convincing? :confused: Ratings? ;)
