Who is at Cruiser?

Once Wayne destroys Mormaeck it will be the Trucks division, Jirov couldnt handle Braithwate....Should be good fight though.

Cruiser or Lightheavy will suit him way better than Heavywieght. His last couple of fights were pretty rough on him.

Jirov/Braithwaite will be a fight worth watching. Even Mormeck/Jirov would.

No doubt about that at all, but I think his Heavyweight downfalls will hurt him greatly in the future.

We can always hope for Jirov to be the same Tiger as when he left, The guy got knocked out by a fat out of shape slob of a fighter Michael Moorer. His confidence has to be shot.

Well I don't see Jirov doing anything in the cruiserweight division anymore. Jirov is a shot fighter, that war with Toney took alot out of him and he has since lost two fights in the HW division.

Braithwaite is the man in the cruisers and he will hand Jirov his ass if they fight each other.

Dumb question, but what the hell is a cruiserweight? Some sort of SUV?

Just joking. But really though, he might as well go down to light heavy and maybe he could face the winner of Johnson-Tarver II.

this is great news and it makes a very solid division even better!

Toney took something out of him in their fight..

Since cruiserweight is now a 200 lbs limit, do you people actually think Jirov has a snowball's chance in hell of making 175 lbs? The answer is no, obviously.

Look how big he is.

well if u look at his loses

he lost a great fight with toney which coulda been a draw...

he almost killed and probally retired joe mesi

he made a mistake by getting up to fast agaisnt moorer.

i dont think he is a shot fighter at all just at a little down point in his career he will bounce back 1 day and i think make a name for himself.

Yeah, you maybe right, but it's better that he slipped up early in his career, (a time when he's still in a good position to make a comeback.) rather than late in his career..

Jirov hopefully will have learned from his mistakes in the moorer fight and just stick to boxing on the outside against bigger guys. Stupid mistake by him to trade with Moorer that late when he had the fight in the bag

I'm glad Jirov is back down where he belongs. I really love his style because he is not afraid to get hit and that usually makes for action fights. It doesnt seem to be too effective at HW though. I think he'll be an excelent cruiser though and he has a damn good chance of being champ, IMO.

I disagree with your comment about Jirov being a shot fighter. I think he's still got legs and he's still young enough, like Wlad, to let these losses be a learning experience. I think, as well, that his fight with Mesi was damn near a victory, what with that incredible rally in the last two rounds.

he would rule light heavy and maybe get joe cal or maybe HOPKINS to fight him. o boy what a fight that would be hopkins vs jirov

There is no way Jirov could make light heavyweight. I think Jirov could beat both Mormeck and Braithewaite. They would both be great fights in my opinion.

I agree, Jirov could never make lightheavy. Where are people coming up with this idea for Jirov to be a lightheavyweight. i hope that this idea ends now cos there is not a chance in hell of Jirov making 175. Crusierweight, yes. i think Jirov best move is there and he should have some success too!

I think Jirov can still fight...not at the level he once fought at but he'll always provide that entertainment value. He'd give us a spirited fight against Braithewaite before ultimately getting KO'd. Big Truck can hit with the best of em and has pretty good skills to set up his power. Jirov is like Morales in a way where he goes to war when he doesn't have to...ala Moorer fight.

Jirov should just fight at cruiser, he was always overpowered when he fought at heavy.
