Paul Spadafora shot his fiancee in the stomach over two flat tires on his truck and was sentenced to up to five years, with the option of boot camp for six months as an alternative. He pled guilty and said "If you just could give me just a little chance, I'll make you so proud, I'll make this whole city proud by doing the right thing for my (fiancee) and my son."

I think this is ridiculous. Had anyone else done this they would most likely had gotten 5-15 years (a guess). And is Paul Spadafora so important as to receive such leniency?

On a side bar, while I also think Floyd got off fairly easy, his is much closer to a correct sentence.

It's funny you should mention that. I saw the fight live and have it on tape, but I don't disagree with the decision rendered in it. It could have gone either way. I am biased vs Spadafora as a person, and I would love to see him ge beat, but I want it to be a clear, and official beating or KO.

He deserve at least 5 years.

He deserves more than 5 years, shooting a woman! Man, Spadafora should get ten years. He should be fed to the winner of Tsyzu Vs Hatton! Not cos he deserves a title match, cos he`ll take the beating he deserves that his girlfriend would have given him if only he hadn`t shot her!

i think when someone shoots their wife like that for nothing, or is (convincingly guilty,via evidence) guilty of rape, child molestation,beastiality,or purse snatching an old woman, these types of crimes show the true character of the criminal,and imo need harsher punishment,but still humane, in a way. more humane than jail,really..instead of sending them to jail there should be a medieval punishment.

There should be a law passed that allows a judge to summon two top heavyweight top 5 contenders/champions of his choice,and some kind of clause that becoming a heavyweight professional boxer you have to sign something that says you are ok with this. the judge would then summon spadafora into a small room, tie him up and duct tape his mouth and eyes, then glove up the 2 HW's and let them beat the **** out of the guy's body for 3 minutes each,power punches non stop, 1 low blow each w/ no nut cup,and then let him go.

Spadafora is a drunk! I thought the law stated if you use a hand gun in the commission of a crime it was an automatic 25 years? Maybe that's just California? Anyway, I've told that dumbass more than once if he has to get ugly with his old lady to 'punch her in the back of the head' that way the bruises don't show.....instead he shoots her, I bet that bruise showed.

I hope Spadafora turns into a vegetable like McClellan.. I dont know who's worse.. A guy who has savagely killed over 100 animals, or one who tries to kill a human.. I can't believe he shot her in the stomach WTF!!
