Torres got caught and was put to sleep :(

I had a feeling this was going to happen.

The rematch will belong to Miguel.

Good win by Mark Wahlberg.

It was bound to happen. Torres leaves himself wide open when he gets into exchanges and you can't do that with the kind of power that Bowles has.

I can't say I'm surprised. Miguel has always been overrated and ranked way too highly

Always been overrated since when? he only had 1 loss before this and was on a 17 fight win streak.

No that's the price you pay for being careless. You can't charge in like that underestimating your opponent even if you think you have them hurt.

Watch Brodie Farber vs. Rory Markham. Pretty much the same scenario.

I started watchin Miguel around the time Frank Mir started blowin smoke up his ass lol. Back than Miguel was like an octopus in the ring, he was freaky to watch. But after he got all this recognition he started lookin all stiff and nervous. And his last 2 fights haven't been all that impressive, he's still fun to watch when theres no boxing on though.

But that Leonard Garcia fight made me realize where that unexplainable distaste for MMA comes from...I mean you have Garcia in there, able to throw dynamite, than he gets choked for like a solid minute, and than the whole fight is dead after wards lmao. That's so f*ckin annoying to see. lol They should seriously consider having all striking matches.

That's called MMA dip****. All striking matches... are you on crack?

You know they have this thing called K-1. You should look into it.

Try getting d'arce choked and then fighting at full capacity for 10 more minutes

Good fight. It looks like Torres may have underestimated Bowles coming into the fight. He got cracked hard a few times before he got KO'd.

I hope he comes back strong

I hate to agree with your first paragraph but I must. Why the hell didn't he impose that jab on Bowels face for a couple rounds? Wear him down, be smart and break him down. That is what Torres has done, and can do - and if it goes to the ground he has skill and ability in spades over almost anyone. And that's why I totally disagree with you about him being overrated. He actually has about 10 more fights than his record shows (they weren't sanctioned back when they happened, but they were legit mma) and is probably the only man to knock out one an opponent from guard, and who else in MMA has EVER had a 17 fight, 5+ years winning streak?

But yea, why the hell throw like hell against an opponent who has tons of power and isn't falling prey to the intimidation game? That was his mistake, and it was a stupid one.

I think I got a virus from watching the ****ing streams last night. Not on this computer, but I can't use keys (asdfqwer, plus ctrl and maybe some other keys).

Never had any problems from watching streams before, but I can't think of what else it could've been. Running AVG and Spybot now, will try system restore if they don't work.

Because he's believing his own hype, he's buying into the p4p talk and he's very arrogant. I believe he is a p4per but the reason Anderson Silva is the man so much is because he fights smart even with the stupid hands down bobbing and weaving. He wont go to the ground against guys wit high level jui jitsu and will just pick them off to a dominating decision. Torres wants to make every fight a high light reel fight and while thats cool for fans, its not smart for your career, look at Wanderlei Silva now, he would still be a monster if he fought more reserved back in the day.

Torres is a sick fighter and no matter how much i think he is arrogant I believe heavily in his skills. He needed his loss to show he's not superman and I also like it when there are different champs like in LHW in UFC cuz now we get more match ups, we see a hungerier Torres and we will see if Bowles really is for real as champ. Hold your head Miguel and use it next time

I don't have a TV. Haven't had one for about 2 years, since a returned from South Korea (I went after college). Basically been living in limbo/out of my car at times/etc. ever since. I'm moving to Tokyo for grad school at the end of next month.

I'm excited about the schooling and everything (I got a government scholarship so it's all free), but to be entirely honest I think I am mainly looking forward to getting my life back in order.

Going back to school is makin me feel better too. I kinda just been workin dead end part times for the past two years and going back to school workin to a degree makes me feel like im actually doin something. I would be siked to go to japan (although they frown upon smokin weed and im a huge pot head. I'd go hard on my studies and learn the language, what do you do for money tho? I'd also pull a big Nog and score a hot asian girlfriend like the jui jitsu god himself

Yeah I'm definitely looking forward to going to school again. I already speak Japanese, but I'm looking forward to what I will learn.

Not taking anything away from Bowles but I think he got lucky. Torres had him hurt and he came in to reckless and got caught with a punch Bowles wasn't even looking when he threw it...

Torres should be back stronger than ever, this might be a good thing for him.

Seems it was maybe just a keyboard problem. At first the said keys were just typing gibberish, then they stopped working. I plugged in a different keyboard and it seems to be working.

I have a bad habit of checking the most obvious **** last. At least my antivirus and spyware definitions are up to date now.
