What's up with Wanderlei? I can't believe he lost his last fight to that rookie, Mark Hunt. :boxing:

Yeah I can't believe he lost to a world champion kickboxer who outweighed him by 60 pounds either. Hunt has an uncanny MMA ability. I think he will do well. One loss in 4 years is nothing to be ashamed out for Silva.

Feel the wrath of the samoan butt drop sucka. Dont forget that Mark Hunt is a former K-1 GP champion. Silva just signed a new sponsership with Koral, we'll probably see him in the up coming MiddleWeight GP....

What I'd really like to see is Hunt against one of Pride's better heavyweights. Maybe Hunt vs. Schilt. Then I'd like to see him fight Herring or Kharitonov.

Silva did well just to hold his own with someone with that much of a weight/size advantage. Indeed, the atomic butt drop sealed it.

That fight was great, my favorite part was in the second or thrid round when Silva got dropped and he put both his hands over his face and kinda laid there for a second...

I'm not the biggest Silva fan, but if anything he impressed me more in that loss than in 20 other meaningless wins over cans. No one punches harder than hunt and Hunt has the hardest head in the world. He's unknockoutable. Silva showed a good chin and heart against a bigger, better striker. Silva has nothing to be ashamed of.

In fact, I thought Silva won that fight. A lot of people do.

The only way he should of won is because of the weight difference....

I thought silva won aswell, when you look at the fight as a whole(atleast in my eyes), Silva weathered Hunts beatings and kept coming with takedowns and ground control. It was close but I would have given it to Silva because of what I mentioned along with the weight advantage.
