Tha Greatest 02-23-2005, 11:25 PM what was tha worse ppv u ever ordered Stickman 02-23-2005, 11:29 PM what was tha worse ppv u ever ordered Don King's last "Heavyweight" event. Half the card sucked. But I suppose that's ok, since it wasn't my turn to pay for it. The Klitchko/Williams fight after that was my "turn", and every fight on that card was excellant. Yep, I'm still rubbing it in every time I see Tony (One of the boxing-buddies) :) the giant one 02-23-2005, 11:38 PM Tyson/Mcneely. One of my boys went to the bathroom during the bout and missed it. Biggest waste of money evah Eyeh8you 02-23-2005, 11:39 PM anything w/Tyson either he gets his ass whooped or kills a tomato can. Total wasteof cabbage! Tha Greatest 02-23-2005, 11:54 PM I remember ordering the trinidad-mayorga fight, which was a great fight, the undercard Mckart-Simms was a ok fight then i see Zab Judah fight some bum!!! wtf was that **** what was the best ppv u ordered? += El Jefe=+ 02-23-2005, 11:59 PM Tyson Vs Ettiene remember that **** was over quik ChicoEscuelaNYC 02-24-2005, 12:07 AM I'm embarassed to say I ordered De La Hoya-Yori Boy Campas!!!! I thought Campas' "special juice" would work! ahahahahah....horrible! MetalVomit 02-24-2005, 12:36 AM Don King's last "Heavyweight" event. Half the card sucked. But I suppose that's ok, since it wasn't my turn to pay for it. The Klitchko/Williams fight after that was my "turn", and every fight on that card was excellant. Yep, I'm still rubbing it in every time I see Tony (One of the boxing-buddies) :) Yeah, that last heavyweight card was a joke. way to start it out too, but Holyfield being embarassed yet again (Please Evander, just go home. You've done so much.) Warrior Spirit 02-24-2005, 12:56 AM The worst PPV I ever ordered was the Klit-Williams card, it was ****ing terrible. .::|ULTIMATE|::. 02-24-2005, 12:56 AM I didnt actually order it but Ruiz vs Oquendo ppv was horrible. The Phantom Menace 02-24-2005, 01:07 AM Don King's latest Heavyweight card. Absolutely horrible. IwatchBoxing 02-24-2005, 02:25 AM The Ruiz vs. Golota PPV, was one of the best last year. I enjoyed watching Holyfeild, even if he was being shut out. Bryd had a great fight, Rahman put on a show, and the Main Event was crazy, and the hype leading to it was crazy. Klit-Williams- Only good fight was Cottos Barrera vs. Morales 3- Barrera vs. Morales 3 only good fight (I enjoyed Calderons fight, not PPV stuff tho) bigbadbri 02-24-2005, 04:10 AM Tyson v Savarese, it was ppv in the UK. What a complete waste of cash. :banghead: stix 02-24-2005, 04:26 AM Tyson's comeback fight when he got out of prison. I think he fought McNeely. Totally worthless. !! Anorak 02-24-2005, 08:02 AM Last Saturday's middleweight event was PPV in England. Witter and Taylor were good, but I didn't really pay much attention to the other guy, one of the fights was called off at the last minute (Carl Froch) and the main event wasn't what I expected. Stickman 02-24-2005, 08:46 AM The worst PPV I ever ordered was the Klit-Williams card, it was ****ing terrible. Are you kidding? Every single fight turned out to be a war except the Klitchko fight, and even that had it's moments. neils7147933 02-24-2005, 08:53 AM Probably the DLH-Sturm/Hopkins-Allen "showcase" - definitely not a PPV card... marvdave 02-24-2005, 08:54 AM Hagler-Leonard :( Tha Greatest 02-24-2005, 09:39 AM Probably the DLH-Sturm/Hopkins-Allen "showcase" - definitely not a PPV card... what are u talkin about that was a good ppv and for the person who said barrera-morales III are u on crack, i was at that fight n it was crazy Rick Reeno 02-24-2005, 09:44 AM By far the worst was Tyson-Seldon, undercard was beyond horrible and Seldon got dropped without even being hit. Lewis-Grant runs a close second, actually thought Grant would give him some competition. Alibata 02-24-2005, 10:55 AM No doubt Klitchko/Williams. That fight sucked ass. cmason 02-24-2005, 11:24 AM most of the fights mentioned were no real suprise, anybody who pays to see ruiz, galota, byrd, tyson or klitchko deserve what they get in my opinion! AintGottaClue 02-24-2005, 11:35 AM whast wrong with klitschko fight? u dotn liek seeing him pound everyone he fights? how was sturm/dlh a bad fight? scap 02-24-2005, 12:52 PM so far no one is as dumb as me... I ordered the Paul Spadafora vs. Dennis Holebaeck fight for $25 that tops any PPV card that I have ever seen in terms of "the worst" jack_the_rippuh 02-24-2005, 01:04 PM Tyson/McNeely..My uncle ordered it. I don't mind seeing a guy get knocked out in the 1st round, but that didn't even happen. If I remember correctly his cornerman jumped in and threw in the towel. spinksjinx 02-24-2005, 01:47 PM so far no one is as dumb as me... I ordered the Paul Spadafora vs. Dennis Holebaeck fight for $25 that tops any PPV card that I have ever seen in terms of "the worst" I disagree, for $24.99 you got to see some great fighters display their talents. Fortunately enough I was in attendance. You could have paid $49.99 for these fights and I feel $24.99 was appropriately priced, although it would have been better for a B.A.D. broadcast but I disagree with you. Had some top rising talent. Spadafora vs Holbaek Sosa vs Murphy Taylor vs Rivera Hernandez vs Mendoza Not top quality opponents but top names...Wasnt the greatest card but sure as hell wasnt the worst...But then again Im a supporter of Spadafora and big fan of Taylor and Sosa, especially Sosa. scap 02-24-2005, 01:51 PM The Sosa v. Murphy fight was a good little scrap but Paul Spadafora headlining a PPV card is ridiculous...I paid it because I love boxing and I was hoping to see the Pittsburgh kid get demolished... I would rather watch VK vs. you then watch Spaddy flick his jab around for 12 rounds even if there is a $20 price difference. It sucks that Spaddy is going to prison, I was hoping to watch him get thrashed in the ring not in court. spinksjinx 02-24-2005, 02:01 PM The Sosa v. True Spadafora shouldnt be headlining any card, but you have to consider where his fights were. In his hometown, Spadafora could draw more fight fans in Chester Wv (where the ppv was held) more than any fighter on that card...That is his territory thats where he draws his big crowds. (Spadafora vs Dorin did like around 7-8k which isnt bad) I read in the paper he was getting boot camp instead of prison possibly? Either way it was stated he isnt focused on his boxing career....Spadafora is done in boxing, in my book. Alibata 02-24-2005, 02:03 PM whast wrong with klitschko fight? u dotn liek seeing him pound everyone he fights? how was sturm/dlh a bad fight? No real fireworks. Their are just certain fights and fighters that don't hold your attention. The whole fight seemed dead. No exitement from what little people there were in the crowd. As a long time fan, I have been spoiled by the good ol days and nothing has lived up in the heavies. Looking forward to Tito/Winky and a couple of other matchups in the jr. welter weight. The MW division is starting to open my eyes once again with possible matchups. The feather/jr. lightweight, especially with the two most throwback fighters in the sport facing each other in Morales/Pacquiao is a definite must see. Just nothing in the heavyweight division. NOTHING. Sorry I feel feel like many fans do. Thats why staples aint selling out if Klitchko fights. I would pay to see a rematch with Lewis or if he fought Toney or someone that can give him a run for his money. But Id rather watch the other divisions until someone sparks up the divisions from the middle weights up. Tarver and Johnson are boring too. Super_Lightweight 02-24-2005, 02:37 PM Tyson-Ettiene, no doubt. The fight was quick and questionable, and the undercard BLEW. Jeff Lacy fought some Jimmy Crawford sack of **** and Corrales was just coming so he was fighting a loser too. Kimmy 02-24-2005, 02:44 PM Mine has to be Tyson Vs Frank Bruno II. Bruno claimed he was gonna teach Mike a lesson and it was only Tyson`s 3rd comeback fight so one believed it might at least be competitive. Unfortunately, Bruno crossed himeself 14 times on the way to the ring and gave up mentally as soon as the bell rang. Bruno turned out to be a corwardly piece of ****, especially since he had claimed he was gonna "Teach Tyson a lesson"! |
