View Full Version : Miguel Torres Vs Urijah Faber TredKiller 08-07-2009, 01:10 PM this is my first time in the MMA section, so if miguel went up 1 wieght-class and fought faber, who'd win? !MMATHAI 08-07-2009, 01:16 PM Faber by strength. Faber can fight at 155lbs, as well. He's a huge FW and would take Torres down at will. Faber UD PAC-BOY 08-07-2009, 01:18 PM Faber would break his neck StillUnknown 08-07-2009, 01:24 PM Faber by strength. Faber can fight at 155lbs, as well. He's a huge FW and would take Torres down at will. Faber UD taking torres down might not be the smart move, Torres' jiu-jitsu is better than Faber's standing, i think if Torres used his reach to his advantage, he could frustrate Faber i'd pick Torres to win TredKiller 08-07-2009, 01:39 PM i think its a case where torres has better skills, but faber is stronger/bigger idk on this one fallenloki 08-07-2009, 03:07 PM i think its a case where torres has better skills, but faber is stronger/bigger idk on this one This would be one HELL of a fight. Rumor has it that Miguel is looking to beef up and move up one weight division. I would love to see him add 10 pounds of muscle and challenge Urijah. Torres' skills are better and he is a more well-rounded athlete. The real question in this fight would be whether or not he can deal with Faber's wrestling. With that said... Has Urijah even resigned with the WEC yet? I know they were having issues arriving at a deal. $ LegenD $ 08-07-2009, 03:46 PM i like both but something tells me torres would walk away the winner...... !MMATHAI 08-07-2009, 03:49 PM taking torres down might not be the smart move, Torres' jiu-jitsu is better than Faber's standing, i think if Torres used his reach to his advantage, he could frustrate Faber i'd pick Torres to win Still, Faber is skilled and strong enough to get out of any Torres's attempts at a sub. Faber isn't just strong, he's quick as hell too. Faber wins this. F l i c k e r 08-07-2009, 06:28 PM Common sense tells me to pick Torres to win but my gut says, Torres has only faught guys smaller than Faber... So basically my gut is telling me to pick Faber. Knowing Faber's heart, he would want to bang but knowing Faber's brain, he will probably out wrestle Torres. Faber by Decision. No way is he gonna stand up with a guy who has an obvious reach advantage over him. Brian13 08-07-2009, 07:50 PM Torres would destroy Mike Thomas Brown because he might have a bit of power but Torres is alot better than him because if Faber didn't break his hand in the 2nd round he would have beaten Brown and I think Brown is overrated. Faber / Torres is a very tough fight to call but I would say Torres would take a close decision. There is no comparision to who is quicker it is definitely Torres and give your back to him like you did against Brown and Torres will definitely submit you because he has very good BJJ. !MMATHAI 08-07-2009, 08:21 PM Torres would destroy Mike Thomas Brown because he might have a bit of power but Torres is alot better than him because if Faber didn't break his hand in the 2nd round he would have beaten Brown and I think Brown is overrated. I hope these fights actually happen so everyone would see what I'm talking about. |
