John Ruiz called James Toney his "warmup" fight before he cleans out the division. I'm not sure Ruiz could clean up his own ass after he takes a ****.

What are your thoughts on Ruiz making good, and beating Toney and then Vitali.

ruiz may beat toney and could hug his way past vitali but that is doubtful

“I’m the real undisputed heavyweight champion of the world” Ruiz said. “None of the other champions will fight me. I’m the king of the heavyweight division; King Kong on top of the Empire State Building and all of the others are down on the street looking up at me. Toney’s nothing more than a tune-up fight for me before I start unifying the titles. He’s nothing more than an overweight middleweight. Whats he ever done to be the WBA mandatory contender? Nothing as a heavyweight! Im going to switch his nickname around and put Toney’s lights out.”

I hope Toney ktfo this fool... :boxing:

The Quiet ***** will clinch and grab his way to victory over Toney. However against Vitali he will get KTFO by one of that Big Russians right hands, That ill pay to see

I completely disagree with ruiz beating toney by clinching and grabbing through the fight. James is a superb inside fighter, when you factor in his advantage in speed over ruiz it spells trouble for the "quiet" guy. James is rarely hit with the first shot when being attcked, after the miss Toney counters with his speed and scores. If ruiz plays that game he will lose. James is a master counter puncher and fights great when the opponent comes to him. James achilles heel (no pun intended) is fighting good boxers, movers and counter punchers. Ruiz is neither of those therefore I predict a wide margined decision in James Toneys favor........Rockin'

I think Toney is going to stop Ruiz late in their fight, maybe the 9th or 10th round.

If Toney comes into the ring in good health he will anihilate Ruiz. Ruiz's wrestling tactics will play right into Toney's hands. Toney will just sit there up against the ropes like he did in the Jirov fight and unleash huge countershots upon Ruiz's face. Toney will KO Ruiz no doubt about it. Don't even get me started on a Vitali vs Ruiz scenario. Everybody knows who would win that one.

I think Toney is going to go to the body when Ruiz tries to hold..

Oh he thinks Toney will win an eazy UD. while I know Ruiz will win an eazy UD or TKO. SO I asked him to bet me 50 or 100 bux. However, he was too scared to bet money so we bet signatures! He'll makes some bad sig for me if Ruiz loses and I'llmake some sick ass signature for him. The bet is for 6 months!

I also think their is a strong possibility that Ruiz could foul out. A disqualification loss after being frustrated by the skillz of Toney

I think Toney will win. Especially now that the quiet man is talking. Usually when a fighter feels threatened that he could lose he will say some stupid things. Deep in John's mind he knows he can't fall back on grabbing James for the whole fight. Toney's too good of a counter puncher to let that crap go on for too long. Light's out will rope-a-dope then blast to knock Ruiz on his azz!! The ref will end the fight in the 9th and save a weary beatup John Ruiz from further punishment.

Nah Toney too weak to control the huggy bear on the inside. You'll see.

Dude, I hope your wrong. I'm tired of Ruiz literally "holding on to victory". I think if James is fully recovered from his injuries he could land some shots down the pike on big John and hurt him. Toney throws punches from weird angles too and he might catch John when he doesn't see the punch coming. I personally don't think John has enough power to make Toney respect him.
