I think its interesting to theorise on how this fight would have gone. It's pretty much a reversal of the actual fight they had and I was wondering opinions on how it would have gone down.

Uhhhh, Vitali didn't exactly become a better fighter over the last 6 years. He got stopped at his best, and he'd get stopped even easier with the roles reversed. Did you really even need to ask? Serious Lewis lovin eh?

No I think Vitali actually boxes a bit more smart these days.

Its a serious question i like both guys

Yea we'll see what you think about the way Vitali currently boxes after the Arreola fight.

Vitali wont need to box against Areolla, just punch him in the face a bunch of times!

Not sure how this remotely makes sense. It's not like Vitali has improved.

I think Vitali would do well in the first few rounds but Lewis would wear him down. And maybe even stop him.

I do actually rate Vitali, but not as high as Lewis. Vitali has the better chin but Lennox shades him in just about every other area, barring height. Vitali has a puncher's chance, I could see him winning one of three fights. Honestly I voted points for Lewis, it is the most likely conclusion for me.

Well, if a past-prime Lewis stopped a prime Vitali then a prime Lewis against a post-prime Vitali.....I think it's pretty obvious.

PS. Watch the Lewis Vs. Golata fight to see how a prime Lewis Vs. and version of Wlad would go :boxing:

I think Prime Lewis beats any version of Vitali.

First of all it's GOLOTA, not Golata! GO-LO-TA! Get it? Why is that so hard to remember?? Maybe because that idiot Lampley keeps pronouncing it wrong. And second, I think we better get some facts straightened out. Golota suffered a panic attack in his dressing room before the fight and his stupid manager chose to inject him with lydocaine. That made his body stiff and numb, so he was down to 50% of his capacity against Lewis. Which explains the shameful defeat. After the fight ended, Golota collapsed and had to be resuscitated in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Glad I sorted that out.

Simple. I read it. A couple years ago. Sorry, got no link. But it is bound to be somewhere if you google Golota.;)

First off: WHY DO YOU CARE? Cause I couldn't give a sh1t if it's spelled Golata, Golota, or Foul Pole.

Secondly, I really get tired of nuthuggers looking for all kinds of esoteric excuses for why their boy got the crap beat out of them.....Next you'll be claiming Don King poisoned him like the Klit-Lickers do when Wlad gets KTFO.

And third, Wlad doesn't need to Lydicaine to make him stiff and numb: He's like that naturally.....and he would have needed to be resuscitated in an ambulance on the way to the hospital if he had been dumb enough to step in the ring with Lennox. Make that a waaahmbulance for all the cry baby Klitschko fan-bois :bottle:

I think Golota made that up as an excuse, he looked ok to me, at least until he got poleaxed

No way. Golota was never the whiny, blame it on something else, John Ruiz-esque type.

Do you SERIOUSLY believe Lewis could KO Vitali?! Come on, for crying out loud, he couldn't even knock out a past his prime Holyfield!Lol! Only if a guy was dumb enough to just stand infront of him with his hands low or if he just rushed in without protecting himself could Lewis knock him out. Like with Bruno. And he didn't even knock him out, lol.

I mean, we saw Lewis land the biggest punch he had on Vitali and Vitali took it. Seriously, you Lewis nuthuggers need to face the facts. If they fought now, Lewis would get beaten up.

Lewis wins by KO as Vitali is way past his best, however if these two fought in their primes i would go with Vitali by KO

Totally agree, Lewis looked at his absolute worst against a good version of Vitali (prime?) and won in 6 rounds end of broadcast really.
