ok, how does one improve timing? also, anyone know what kind of training Miguel Cotto does? I really want to emulate his style.... please post if you know anything. thanks

he's able to read the punches comming in so he counters accordingly. its all about training your eyes. its also about doing your research. he's also probably studied the tapes of his opponents so he already had a great idea of their footwork and timing and habits. even just being in the ring with his opponent he already picked up on their timing and can also read what punches were coming. spar spar spar is the only way to train your eyes.

Yeah thats good stuff...

Do you use a freestanding speed bag and those bags that attach from ceiling to floor? They are the best for timing your punches.
