View Full Version : Mosley... worth a bet
!! Anorak 11-19-2004, 04:30 PM 35 KOs out of 39 wins? I don't know enough about the guy, to be frank - never even seen him box - but with a KO record like that he's got to be worth a bet as underdog. Even if Winky outboxes him again you could always have an unexpected upset.
I've had a good time betting on underdogs this year. I blew it with Oscar against Hopkins (I thought he must have known something...) but made some cash from Danny Williams and Glencoffe Johnson. After this, it's Danny 5-1 against Vitali.
tracylee 11-19-2004, 05:07 PM I bet on Mosley too....I think that he can pull it off this time and learn from his mistakes in their first bout! I'd really, really like to see him win and get his titles back! ;)
Ranger2408 11-19-2004, 05:07 PM nah that was at the lower weights, i think you may have the record a bit wrong mosely fought de la hoya twice, forrest twice and winky once, not one was a KO

What did you call me!?! :D
Lost 50 G on what?? their first fight?
outofit 11-19-2004, 06:51 PM i think mosely lost that fight mentally he was so fustrated he looked like he was gonna cry in the corner at like the 3rd or 4th round, i deffinately think he has a good shot at a second fight with time to collect himself and inspire in himself some determination. He will find a ***** in wright's armor and push through it.
Ranger2408 11-19-2004, 07:29 PM nah tracy, i bet 50G on tommorrow that mosely would win, i will lose :(

Yeah he doesn't have as much as power as he had at 140..

You dont think Shane can do it?? Why did you bet so much if youre convince that he'll lose? I bet on him cause I believe he can pull it off....I think it will be a different fight this time around ;) Once he figures a way around (or underneath) those long forearms of Winky's he'll be able to work that body and win a dec...in my opinion. :)
dpfinley 11-20-2004, 12:26 PM My bet's with Wright, but I honestly wouldn't be suprised if Mosley pulls it out tonight. He may be more comfortable now at this weight class, and under Goossen, he may be back on track.
!! Anorak 11-20-2004, 12:29 PM Is there anywhere online to see it? Illegal, I know, but the UK has it on a day-delay screening.
I've just put £45 on Shane to win £101... he's at 9/4 with bet365.com
Forgot my third "underdog" win this year... Carl Thompson vs. David Haye
