What You Guys Think???????????

It depends on what Toney does at heavyweight.. If (and this is a big if) he beats Ruiz and then goes on to beat Klitschko then I'd say Toney. Otherwise, RJ!! I think to a certain extent they will go down as fighters that could have gotten more out of their ability as great as they both were!

I agree with this post.

James is still doing pretty good, but he will have a tough time with Klitschko. He will make Ruiz look like the slug that he is. Jones was great, I loved to watch him work. He wouldnt give the fans what they wanted alot, ala the slugfest, he was to smart to be suckered into that. Its plain and simple, Roy Jones' time has come, it is probably best that he just step out and enjoy the rest of his life with the luxurious pad(money) that he earned for himself. Who will go down as the better fighter is a tough question, I believe that Roy has had the publics support far more than James ever did. And no matter who may have actually been the better fighter it is the publics opinion that makes the boxing gods......Rockin'

Jones without doubt, although Toney's a brilliant fighter i think history will forget him soon enough.

definitely Jones, JT took too many years off when he should have been in his prime, he'll never get those years back. i think james can win titles at hw but only if he stays injury free

jones will go down as the better fighter. when they fogught eachother toney only won one round of the twelve. roy showcased most of his skills in that one. he used speed reflexs and power to beat toney. jones was the superior fighter. iam not taking away anything from toney as he is a great himself and is a lock for the hall of fame. i remember toney's come from behind stoppage win against micheal nunn. nobody gave him a chance in that one. both are great fighters but imo roy will be remembered as the better fighter.

it's hard because after toney cleans up the HW div, people will just say they weren't that good anyway, so RJJ will go down as the better fighter.

RJJ in my opinion, without a doubt.

Toney will go down in history for being an amazing fighter at middleweight. Never fearing anyone, fighting often when he did fight, and then getting is worse shape than any boxer ever, when he wasn't fighting.
He is also ****ing hilarious.

If James loses his next fight I think he should replace Roy Jones as HBOs commentator.

toney cant be a commentator.......when hes not boxing hes out of shape....and he sounds like he has a bunch of food in his mouth when hes talking.........when he did the foxsports show for a kirk johnson fight......toney sounded like he had a hard time breathing

Jones right now naturally. But what Toney does at heavyweight could influence his spot in boxing history in relation to RJJ.

If Toney beats Klitschko I would call it even or favor Toney. Right now I favor Jones. Let me make it clear though...I'm not as confident as some of yall that Toney will beat Ruiz.

We'll see.

Let's say Ruiz does beat Toney and goes on to beat Vitali does that help Roy's legacy?

I really doubt he will beat Vitali but I dont think it will help roy to much. his style was tailor made against ruiz so every got what they expected

Roy Jones Jr.

NO QUESTION!

I think it's too early to tell. Yeah Roy got knocked out twice but from what he's saying he might come back...and there is a slight chance that he could come back and redeem himself. Look at Tommy Hearns after getting KO'd by Barkley...he still came back to accomplish more. We still don't know the verdict on Toney either...he might win a Heavyweight Title or he might get knocked the **** out...no one knows. So until both these guys are 100% finished with their careers with no comeback in sight...we really can't say who will be the better fighter when we look back in history. :boxing:

I'm going to say Jones will go down in history as the better fighter. We will see what Toney can do in the heavys. Jones didn't ever really lose a fight untill last year. Every boxer loses a fight if their fighting long enough.
