... that Nigel Benn vs. Gerald McClennan fight. Did you see Bruno in it? Jumping up and down and yelling encouragement every five seconds. Put him the other side of the ropes and he just stands there and rabbit punches.

ITV Fight Night though, those were the days... days when fights were free and watched by the mainstream. Nowadays the average UK resident could name Tyson and Lewis, and that's about it.

Also strange to see on the Benn-McClennan fight Naz praising Benn between rounds. I remember having a skim-read of Benn's auto-biography and he slated Naz for later criticising him when he threw in the towel. Benn's retort was "I'll punch you up in the air you little s***!"

im starting to see why people think your threads are ****Nah, it's one-off light-hearted thread, that's all. Try taking your head out of your arse and you might enjoy it more.

I can't see what you mean by "most dominant performance". Anyway, Bruno's most memorable performance was when he beat Mccall to become the WBC champ. But his later performance against Iron Mike and LL was pathetic, specially that one against the Iron where he appeared to be just trying hard surviving than fighting. My personal opinion only. :boxing:

:gives: :sucks: jk but it is pretty bad. bruno was annoying in that one and benn should have been counted out when he was dropped, maybe the mcllelan would have been alright

Then you open the thread and it's about a fight where he kept his nose through the ropes to shout in, see?
