The verdict is in and former lightweight champ Paul Spadafora was sentenced to up to five years in state prison for shooting his fiancee 16 months ago, but he could get out in as little as six months if he completes a boot-camp program. The relatively lenient sentence could enable Spadafora to resume a still-promising career. Spadafora plead guilty in December of last year to aggravated assault and a weapons violation in the shooting of his son's mother Nadine Russo. The shooting stemmed from Russo ruining two tires on Spaddy's hummer and he shot her while being in a drunken rage. [details (http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=752)]
