Rumor has it that Liddell will come back to fight Tito.

Looking at that video, Tito's boxing skills are terrible. But he's seeking out a great trainer and working at it so I have to give him props.

Hopefully he keeps uploading videos of his training sessions with Roach.

Well, he did start off as a wrestler/GNP fighter.

He's probably not familiar with a lot of boxing drills too.

Definitely stands to benefit greatly from this, though.

just goes to show how terrible ufc fighters are at stand up. Most amateurs could woop him.

I give him props for stepping outside the box though.

EDIT: just not to ignite a flame war..I know not all UFC fighters are this bad

I may be wrong in this but to me it seems the most dangerous type of fighter in MMA is a wrestler than can strike. If Tito can sharpen up at this stage of his career, it would help prolong his career.

His boxing does look bad though....lol.

Roach also works with Andrei Arlovski, wonder if him and Tito will spar with each other

hopefully more of these videos make their way onto the web

I'm willing to bet that his hands will still suck.

Lets put it this way.

Boxers 8 hour training days consist of training in... yup you guessed it, boxing. Where as Mixed Martial Artists spend 8 hours training in Muay Thai/Boxing, bjj, wrestling, judo, etc.

Of course a boxer is going to have better stand up than an Mixed Martial Artist, that's fairly obvious.

And this is very good for Tito. AA's boxing wasn't nearly as good as it is now before he started training with Roach.

Still, Tito doesn't have the heart he once had. This will make his stand up better, but it won't win him any fights against top comp.

What box? MMA fighters train boxing/stand up all the time with trainers.

Hey now, hey now. Better boxing than a Mixed Martial Artist, not necessarily better standup.

Anderson Silva will lose when he boxes Roy Jones Jr. But I'd be surprised if RJJ could beat him in a striking match with elbows, knees, kicks, the clinch, etc.

I worded it wrong, my apologies.

A boxer is obviously better at boxing than an Mixed Martial Artist, but at stand up? It depends on the fighter.

Wow...Tito's boxing really does looke bad, I mean it's nothing to be shocked about since the only time he looked like a legit striker was against Shamrock the first time around. But still...i woulda expected him to at least get something that basic down. But it's all good, should be nice to see him improve his hands a little, maybe he'll start having success with those takedowns again by actually being able to set them up.
