If Lacy defends his IBF title on 5th March successfully, do you think he is ready to face Calzaghe, With Calzaghe struggling to get a big fight, Isn't this the fight he should be after a unification fight with Lacy.

i think he should go for kessler first. The lacy fight won't b e hard to make cause they are bioth on showtime. if he fights kessler in the summer and wins he can move straight into a big money fight with lacy in the winter. The end of this year could see him with 3 titles. How would be to fast and busy for lacy and beat him clearly on points.

I always thought it was Calzaghe avoiding big fights that was the problem, not the other way around...?

Lacy's people won't let him anywhere near Calzaghe yet.

I don't think LAcy has the chops to beat Calzaghe at this moment. Sheika gave Jeff trouble and it's easy to imagine what a more polished fighter with quicker hands and a more explosive style would do to him. I think Lacy needs a few more high profile fights before he fights Calzaghe. He has the power and skill, but I think the experience is lacking.
