first off, Silva doesn't want out of UFC. If he did, he wouldn't be fighting in the LHW division(his choice not UFC's) while holding the MW title. He might want to fight Jones, but he has bigger goals to chase in the UFC, like becoming a 2 division champ. And even if he does lose to Griffin, he still has like 5 fights left on his contract plus he is holding a title which means that the UFC can renew an option on a contract even after the deal expires IF a fighter is holding a title.

The UFC doesn't have Judges. The athletic commissions do. The UFC hasno influence over their decision.

I do hope he gets beat by Griffin so I can watch Roy beat him down.

obviously i'm probably wrong but i think silva can care less about becoming a 2 division champ..youre probably right but for some reason i totally get that vibe from him [i know i know he doesnt speak english]..i also think that he doesnt care what others think either and for whatever reason i dont think he cares if ufc audience or white for that matter has any issue with it..which ofcourse they probably would if he wanted out..

can- so he doesnt have a clause that states that he HAS to resign automatically if he's still reigning champion? [ u know that famous crazy contract that they offered fedor a couple years ago where it automatically extends to whatever amount of time if the strap is still around his waste.]
