I just ordered a Area-51m 7700 laptop from Alienware. This thing has got me drooling. Anyone else here own a Alienware pc/laptop.
I can't wait to play Half Life 2 and Doom 3 on it.

i will never buy an alienware simply because they are rediculously overpriced.

they definately kick ass and are loaded to the hilt for gamers, but like i priced out a desktop pc from them one time about a year or so ago, and for what i got from them for 3400 dollars, i could build with identical parts or their equivelent for 1700. thats a 50% markup they had.

It costs the same as a equally equipped Dell. I priced them both. The only difference is that Alienware has no tax and free shipping. That's why I chose it.

Bear in mind all notebooks are substantially pricier. Also bear in mind they make the most powerful notebooks on the market bar none.
